What I will say is that MK8 isn't the cheap port people make it out to be, they added characters, they modified a lot of core mechanics and they added a very extensive battle mode with lots of different modes and beatifully crafted stages. In the era of rereleases of games that aren't actually that old (which is a different discussion not worth having), this is up there in terms of effort.

 

Also you can take it anywhere now (and do multiplayer), which isn't really a flaw of the game. More of a limitation on the hardware it was originally released on.

MK8 is right at home on the Switch.

On 3DS there were like dozens of conditions before I could get to play local multi - the person I was with had to own a 3ds, had to have brought it, had the same game, was progressed enough that we could play together, and then the sun and moon had to align while a comet was passing Earth while what's new pussycat was playing for the 7th time in a row.

With Switch I just take it out and pretty much own people using Donkey Kong.

Kinda of a stretch but perhaps the reason the first two were offered in the Humble Bundle was to drum up interest before the reveal.

Just finished Inside. Such an amazing game.

Don't know how they were able to top Limbo, but they did.

The whole body-ball part was insane.

 

Can't wait to play Inside. Been holding it off for a long time. I have this weird ritual that I don't play games that I know I'll love until I feel like it's the right time. Yes it doesn't make sense.

Also can't believe E3 is just a month away.

 

Honestly I don't know what to expect at this years E3. I would love a price to be announced for Scorpio, TLoU 2 gameplay, more God of War gameplay, and ANYTHING from Valve.

Would love Red Dead Redemption, but Rockstar doesn't do E3.
