Catching up on DVR - hate that someone gets introduced before reading the pick. Especially in the third round. I don't give a shit about the linebacker that played 2 seasons for Atlanta in the 80's. Pretty happy with Carolina's draft. Two offensive playmakers, a LT with promise who can sit behind Kalil and Oher, and a DE with potential that can learn from Peppers and Johnson.

I'd be happy with taking Dorian Johnson and then trading our fifth and both sevenths for Jake Butt.

We really didn't need another DE more than a guard. There's nothing to suggest whatsoever that Smoot is a better bet than Fowler or Ngakoue... and maybe if that's all we had, I would have thought a third would be good for rotation. But not when we have Calais Campbell manning the strong side. We shouldn't be pulling BOTH Campbell and Ngakoue/Fowler off the field almost ever. Perhaps this means Campbell is playing DT cause that's the only way that pick is above a C grade for me.

I was happy with Cam Robinson even though Forrest Lamp was seen by many as a surer prospect, because we REALLY need better/higher potential OTs... but letting Feeney ALSO fall to the Chargers wasn't smart. Would have loved TWO good blockers after Fournette.

Why is that more important than a starting guard especially when you had the chance to definitely get one?

Fournette, Cam Robinson and Dan Feeney sounds like you bout to RUN THE DAMN BALL. Fournette, Cam Robinson and Smoot sounds like, David Caldwell put your toys away. This is a real draft, and the OL is a real 5-player problem, and you can't just sit on one lineman per draft and trade healthy left tackles for injured ones like it's no big deal.

Not drafting Dorian would be three strikes. Three diff rounds we had a INT OL prospect that should have went a round ago in our grasp. Let's hope we do take him, and salvage that reckless DE pick. For a 12 sack guy from the fuckin Big 12 who doesn't even play run defense??? At strong side end??
