    Give what you can.

I'm legitimately starting to feel sorry for the teams we're playing around the 6th-7th inning. The looks on their faces is just demand sympathy. And yeah the offense has been unrelenting, but our defense has been air tight as well. Fowler covered a ton of ground tonight and probably saved a couple of runs.

I can't find a weak spot. Fuck this is fun.

+43 run differential in 9 games. Unreal.

On pace for +774 run differential this season.

Best idea. That's what I'm doing. I can chase the bad baseball down with some really good baseball. Definitely eases the pain.

Yeah it's just disappointing. I really hope by next year they're at least a team that could get a wild card spot... Not going to hold my breath though.

I thought they could at least challenge for a WC as early as next year, but watching this team, I'm already doubting that. They have a long way to go. My biggest fear now is that they will want to rush the prospects up before they're really ready, since they have a stadium to fill next year. Absolutely nothing exciting about this team as-is.

If he keeps this up, he's gonna get PAID! and then suck it up in the first year of his contract.
It doesn't seem like he even wants to be there if he isn't playing so what is the incentive?
what happened besides still not winning a game?

Looks like he might be the 2nd player to win AL Player of the Week honors in their first week!

Actually super excited to be catching a Cubs game at Wrigley this summer!

I guess I'm going to watch the Cubs? My dad called me after Harper's grand slam and I told him I shut the game off. He is very concerned bc I watch every game no matter how bad they are. Maybe watching a fun team will repair my broken heart?

If you want to see what the Braves could be in 13 years, then watch the Cubs.

Today would be a good day to start watching the Cubs too. I'll predict 30+ runs this weekend against a terrible Rockies rotation.

Haha yeah they mentioned on the broadcast that the Rockies' ERA is around 7, and seeing as that's about what the Cubs are averaging per game... Should be fun. Doesn't seem nearly as windy today as it was last couple nights either. Balls will be flyin'.

I'm curious to see how our rotation holds up against a potentially potent Rockies lineup. They feel more capable of run producing than teams we've faced so far, even if they aren't going to contend.

Well Arriera/Lester go this weekend, so I'd still bet on a sweep if Kendricks holds up today. This Rockies lineup is good though. They could score some runs.

Looking at their lineup again, only the 1-4 hitters instill any sort of fear in me. I like our chances.

I'm jealous of the Cubs this season! I want Lester back so bad, I don't care that he is getting older. I miss him in a Sox uniform.
