wonder what all factors into some artists decisions on album rollouts.
like, Paramore announced their album coming out in 3 weeks.
whereas FOB, almost 5 months. wondering if the album still isn't finished or what. cuz they could totally get away with one of those surprise releases/instant drops that more and more artists are doing now.

 

Lol holy shit that is a rough chorus. Transition into verse 2 is pretty bad as well

this is the worst thing I've heard today, and I've had to spend the day listening to Korn

 

damn, they broke the streak of red and blue album covers. and writing good songs lol

 

I don't really like the song. Not because they're experimenting with different styles or whatever dumb shit people are saying in the newspost. I just think the chorus is sloppy and the song is all over the place. Maybe itll grow on me

I will say that I appreciate the way this band makes announcements. Song, video, album announcement, artwork, and tour dates all on the same day, all in the same post. I wish more bands did that.

The September release date... not so hot on it, however I understand why a band of their stature makes a decision like that.

 

I really enjoy the aesthetic of this album. The ocean wave and the neon purple. It's very dark and moody. I'm excited to see how they incorporate those themes into the live show.

 

Definitely love the purple theme for the cover, promos, everything. I love when bands hold "eras" together with visual themes

I'm excited to see this one live honestly. I think it'll be cool to see how they execute it.

song is pretty good, but the chorus is a bit too much. kinda ruins the flow/vibe. i get what they were going for, it just doesn't 'click' that well.

Man peeling back the layers of this song is so much fun

 

So many little things in here, like the sudden ramp up of Patrick's vocals as he says menace, Andy's drums in the chorus, hearing Patrick absolutely belting during the chorus, the subtle piano chords throughout, the prechorus sounding like a horror version of "This Ain't A Scene..."...this is keeping the aggression of the aesthetic of AB/AP, but way more focused. And man, the timing of Andy's drums with the dubstep sounds is facemelting

 

It will be patrick by himself with steve aoki in the background
