Really just Matt's background screaming and the intro guitars. Reminds me of Illusion-era Thrice.

Wish matts screaming was louder. I can definitely hear the thrice and Thursday post-rocky influence.

 

Parts of 6/8 reminds me a lot of "For The Workforce Drowning". The guitars in the intro and Matt's screams

Ok I knew this song reminded me of something in the beginning. And I never thought I'd be making this comparison, but the guitar pattern in the beginning reminds me of Chiodos a little bit.

 

Travis is a fucking beast.

 

I really like the instrumental on this, but something feels missing from these tracks so far.

(And its not Tom cause I dug quite a bit of California)

 

I like how heavy this song is. Hoping for more dark and heavier stuff on their next full-length. Which, I guess is next year already haha.

Does it sound like a specific song to you? I feel like it reminds me of one in particular, but I can't place it.

 

Man, I hope they play a bunch of these new deluxe songs on tour. So happy I pre-ordered the pink vinyl now. Was a little pissed it cost like $50...But after hearing these songs...worth every penny. Keep taking all my money like you have been since 1997, Blink-182.

Well that was good. Yeah, more of a rock song, in the vein of a Linkin Park or Thursday, but considering the number of songs Blink released I love the variety. Happy they are making so much music right now.

 

Fall out boy and blink both release songs today. One of them is actually good. Spoiler alert: it's this one! I really like this one. I don't know what it is about it. There's something slightly different about it that I like. I also feel if it could've been on untitled. Haha

 

This is pretty cool. Doesn't sound anything like Blink which is kinda refreshing.

 

I figured it out, I was thinking of the beginning of Why the Munsters Matter. This actually sounds a ton like that (in a good why - that's maybe my favorite Chiodos song ever).

 

I fucking love 6/8. A LOT. That chorus....that bridge....yesssss. My only wish is that I could understand what matt is screaming lol

 

This would make my rescheduling worth it if they played a couple of the deluxe songs/some California we haven't heard yet

 

For as well as these lyric videos are done, that's at least two from deluxe there's been an error in "hallow accusations" cmon lol

Wow that was pretty cool. Interesting style for them to try (I can see why this wasn't on California).

Gotta let them sit a little while, but these are probably my favorite lyrics from this whole album.

 

Totally paraphrasing here but it was about turning over cars and starting a riot.

 

I definitely got way more into this after a few repeated listens. there's a lot of cool stuff happening in the production when I put headphones in. the way the levels kind of morph bringing mark and matt's up and down during the later chorus. I don't really know how to explain it in words haha, but it just flows really well and is really cool. and the build up and pay off of that bridge is awesome.
