So I gave Neighborhoods another listen today...found that, "Fighting the Gravity," is my favorite song from that record. Weird.

 

I have only ever listened to the Deluxe so I always considered it the normal edition.

 

Only ever listened to the deluxe as well. I believe that's the definitive version but the label was trying to give "standard" and "deluxe" options.

 

The ONLY reason anyone should ever need to listen to the "standard" version is to not have to listen to the shitty "Hearts All Gone" interlude.

 

Travis just tweeted that his favourite artist just completed the new album artwork. His artist friend (not sure if it's the same one) did Dogs Eating Dogs - boy do I hope it's nothing similar.

I know Mark talks about him more but I'm hoping its that Greg "Craola" Simkins

 

I'm not a fan of anything blink has done graphic design-wise in so long now. Love the smiley with the colored paint stokes on Untitled, and have hated everything since. From the merch to the artwork.

There we go, even if the record sucks we got a cool af crow on the cover

 

it is a weird trend that a lot of acts have been doing. For example, the new Zayn single that is being pushed to radio is only on the deluxe edition. Same thing with Sam Smith, his deluxe edition of the album had 4 extra songs, two of which were pushed as singles. AND Nicki Minaj's song "Superbass" was also only on the deluxe edition of the album.

 

Yeah the weird thing is the songs were actually part of the album, not just tacked onto the end.

 

TOYPAJ had my favorite artwork and packaging.

 

Taylor's "New Romantics" is a single now as well
