    Ever since I got my AT LP-120, I've noticed I need to raise the volume on my speakers considerably to get a decent volume for listening and I read it has to do with the internal pre-amp. Is this true? if it is, are there any solid, reasonably priced pre-amps to go for?

    What pressing of FYEB did you get? I got a nice purple one myself, pride of my vinyl library, and I have the pink LP too.

    I've seen this one recommended pretty often: Amazon.com: ART Pro Audio DJPRE II Phono Turntable Preamplifier: Musical Instruments

    I ended up just buying a receiver with a phono input at a thrift store and it works great. I run my turntable into that, and then connect my speakers to the receiver. Only cost me $10.

    Picked up the Touche Amore - Stage Four peach tour press last night. Glad to finally own this album. They were so good last night too.
