Packers schedule is truly bizarre

 

You ever been to Seattle?

 

Nope. This will be my first time in the city. Tickets are gonna be hella crazy though.

 

I should probably try to get to an NFL game for the first time. Rams will be in Detroit this year.

 

Have you seen anything about tickets?

 

Haven't really looked at anything aside from some reddit posta, not anywhere close to the position of having enough free capital to make a trip out to LA and seeing a game.

 

That's probably true. $200-300 for cheap seats probably. You may try to get a last minute ticket from a scalper if you don't mind missing the first few minutes of the game.

 

maybe its just because the Dolphins suck or maybe its because I am a lazy bastard, but I havent been to an NFL game since Dan Marino's retirement game like 15 years ago. It is just so expensive/such a hassle and I love watching like 10 hours of football from my couch every Sunday

 

I agree that its tough to beat the couch these days on NFL Sunday but I've never missed a game where the Eagles come to Seattle since like 2001 and that won't start now. I'll be there this year but outside of that, I won't go to any other games probably just because its so expensive, especially here in Seattle.

 

Last year was the first time I was able to afford season tickets. Going to 6 games (sold the last two in December/January because I was so sick) actually made me appreciate the from home experience more when I got to do it. Obviously the colder it got, the more I wished I was at home, but it was still fun. But with the way the Bills scene is, I feel like it would have been more fun at 22 than 27. I don't drink like that anymore, I'm just there to take it all in. And laugh at guys in luchador masks having wrestling matches in the parking lot.

I am sure I would have a good time if I went to a game

the problem is none of my friends are Dolphins fans lol so I am kind of alone in that regard

 

For growing up and living in Pittsburgh my whole life, I've surprised by how few Steelers fans I'm friends with. Very few of my friends follow sports at all, and the ones that do are baseball and hockey fans. I usually wait for a game around Thanksgiving or Christmas when my brother is in town.

 

I expect to see a whooooole lot of Steeler fans come December. That fan base sure does travel, and I'm pretty sure Buffalo is just a bit farther than Cleveland travel wise.

 

the first game at the new vikings stadium is hosting the packers, people are upset that packer fans will make up a lot in attendance. haha

 

Anyone know when tickets usually go up? Might try to go to that GB/MN opener in the off chance tickets aren't insanely expensive.

 

No interesting jets games this year, id go to Seahawks but it'll probably be super overpriced

 

Going to a game live isn't that much fun

To be fair, the vibe I get from you is that you don't have that much fun doing anything.

 

I love listening to music and watching wrestling and hanging out with my fiancee and dog

It's just a better experience to watch football on a nice HDTV / almost every other sport is better live than televised but football isn't one of them.

 

NFL.com posted the strength of schedule for all the teams.
