Oh ya sorry to beat a dead horse but the production from dude ranch through untitled was all perfect for their respective records.

 

Oh yes indeed. If only Cheshire had the same treatment Dude Ranch got, it would've been a much better record.
I think Neighborhoods from Ghost On The Dancefloor until After Midnight have good production and sound massive, after those tracks the album fell flat.

 

I was thinking this the other day. I love thr production on it and and no new pop punk records can even hold a candle to the production on that record.

 

I agree. I haven't heard anything like it since.

I hope they wrote a song with a good long outro. Like I'm lost without you or Chapter XIII. Those outros are so cool. Mark and Travis can do it!!

 

Unpopular opinion: I seriously love Love is Dangerous. It's one of my favorites on Neighborhoods.

I think that is still just leftover from last year's shows. Ticketmaster hasn't updated it yet, but I bet they will when the tour is announced.

The chorus is cringeworthy, but I love the rest of it. The dual vocals in the verse are great.

Regarding our convo yesterday about the number of tracks on blink albums:

I didn't even realize that the original release of Neighborhoods is only 10 songs long. Both "Hearts All Gone Interlude" and "Snake Charmer" are excluded, and obviously so are "Fighting the Gravity" and "Even if She Falls."

Does anyone even consider this 'original version' the actual album? I think it's a pretty strange move on their part and wonder why they did it. Pretty sure my vinyl is the deluxe edition too. Weird to think of "Snake Charmer" as a bonus track. Not that it matters, I just think it's really odd.

 

It really was a bizarre decision
