House of Hardcore show was pretty meh. Way too many old dudes wrestling/ dropping in.

Striker wrestled a clown and they hit every popular WWE guy's finisher from the last 20 years.

Juventud wrestled CW Anderson. Juice just tried to get himself over the whole time, but no one cared.

They had a match with the usual local indie heel dudes against a bunch of jobbers. When it got out of hand, Blue Meanie, Sandman, and Rebel Sky ran in for some of the worst shit I've ever seen.

Cage looked great, as usual with him man handling some 400 lb dude and Rhett Titus at the same time.

Hardys put on a match that had no depth to out whatsoever. Tussled a little bit then the Spirit Squad ran in. Hardy hit the Twists and a Swanton and that was it. Exactly what I expected. Apparently HHH and Vince only gave them the okay a few hours before the show. I feel like a lot of it was how damn likable Dreamer is.

Pentagon and Sami was the last match, oddly enough. It was insane from start to finish. You could tell a lot of people were Sami fans, I'm assuming from CZW. Not a lot of love for Pentagon until things got moving. Immediately started out with a crazy table spot. They did back to back package piledrivers on the apron. Looked amazing. Penta hit three Canadian destoryers. All looked great. LOTS of spitting and incredibly loud/hard slapping. Crazy shit that I've come to love from both of them. I could watch them do it forever.

I can't find a match of theirs, but these promos fucking kill.

Also, Callihan is down to 200 lbs. So crazy.

 

Just like he did the one guy in the trio of jobbers match.

Yeah, I cant see Kalisto doing much on RAW beyond getting destroyed by heels.

 

Alvarez is super convinced Jinder is winning the title hahahaha

 

I mean... there's a way they could do it for sure but I feel like orton would just come out with the title at the end anyway and that would suck too. It'll be funny if they push jinder more than when they pushed Dolph a year ago, considering that was actually a little bit believable. I'm all for jinder actually getting a shot, I just feel like they'll screw it up like always.

 

Its all because of Vince pursuing a market in India.

 

Yea, which is typical. I mean I could see a legitimate build but they suck and it'll fail, all that matters is him looking adequate enough until his magazine comes out I guess. The thing is since its orton, like dean most people are like "well, let's just see how it'll play out. I'm not that mad." But if they did it to KO or AJ the mark universe would lose their mind. That's why it works.

 

Bryan and Dave made really great arguments as to why it is happening. If you don't corner the market of the #1 and #2 most populated countries in the world, you lose. Being #2 is unacceptable in that situation. They have over 1 million youtube subs from India alone and need to find a way to monetize it. Using a guy from Calgary is a bit silly, but you have to start somewhere.

I think its that cobra clutch slam he did against Sami, but, notice that when he hit it, the crowd didnt go "oh, thats a finisher" like they do for a PU Powerbomb or RKO

Though, them also not knowing how the Bollywood Boyz are probably didnt help that either

The rip off of The Brood broke up and Crazy Steve was literally buried to be written off. Sounds like WWE is in his future.

I just want Rosemary and Jade to have their feud again in a WWE ring. Those two are so excellent together.

He isn't cutting promos like he used to. Being a business owner has likely changed him a bit.

 

Speaking of 2 paws, I wonder what Tyson Kidd is up to lately, at least when he was on total divas you would get small updates but now he like doesn't exist.

He owns a Shoney's in Acworth, GA that I've actually delivered beer to a couple of times. Met him briefly once, but he didn't seem in the best mood to talk wrestling.
Has a pretty cool display inside with several of the old WCW titles and a bunch of old merch and gear and stuff, though.
