I agree. I didn't buy it.

I ended up buying the Rush record instead.

 

I found a sealed copy of the Bruce Live 1975-85 collection for $20, so I bought that instead. Better live record and more songs for a quarter of the price.

$800 is nuts.

I spent about $100 total.

 

4,000 copies.

 

Right? It was unreal.

He did two orders. One was for like $650 and the other was almost $200. Our store limits you to 1 copy per customer, too.

 

That's pretty high for something netting so much on eBay.

I'm happy I got 2/3 of the main records I wanted. I would have been upset had I not gotten the Coheed album.

 

Yeah, I feel like those prices are going to go down. Especially if someone rips the audio and leaks it.

 

I snagged spoon's single and SDRE "How to be something..." just because it was there and that album rules. Really wanted coheed but oh well.

snagged Thrice, B&C, and Star Wars. They had a 3 item cap (4 for VIP) per checkout (you could get back in line for more), which I was OK with, but kind of a bummer for people interested in more.

also finally grabbed 22, a million.

 

I got Isbell, DBT and Old 97's. Went to three stores looking for Blitzen Trapper and also would have liked to find the Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam thing, but no dice. Did anyone get the Trapper album? I originally saw it was "unreleased recordings" but they just tweeted something about it being a complete scrapped album from 10 years ago. Did anyone find this?

I think 90% of the Isbell records are out here in Nashville haha. Scored a copy of that and also Sara & Tegan. No luck finding the Toto picture disc yet...

I got to the store by me a little later, so I was only able to find Against Me! 7", but that was probably what I wanted the most so I'm content. I would've liked to have gotten the Grateful Dead live album or All Time Low unplugged.

Someone needs to rip the Thrice 7'' so I can hear Sea Change?
