Ya know, I'm not sure. I liked it enough to continue after the first book. They are not dialog driven, and Cass is badass. The art is not really my style, and the third book feels like a waste, but overall, I'd recommend it. The story the first two books tell is really great, but the last one doesn't make a ton of sense outside of the context of the Bruce Wayne Murderer arc, but ties her story together if you read it all.

Okay, cool. I think I recall one of the libraries having at least one of the trades. They have a pretty huge Batman section at one and the Batgirl stuff is just mixed in so I'll have fun searching for it whenever I go again haha.

Definitely read them in order. Very important.

Will do! I'm still going to make an attempt at reading what's on my shelves for a bit before going back to grabbing comics at the library. But that never works so well for me it seems haha.

My friend still has like 10 of my trades and I'm dreading the fact that I might not have room for all of them on the shelf now. I tried to have a pile for my unread stuff, but that would be like most of the stuff on my wimpy two shelf collection.

@Henry, I find your lack of Spider-Man disturbing.

I never wanted to fall down that path. Wayyyyy too many books and I feel weird just jumping in. I know it isn't any different than other characters, but I like making excuses.

I read a ton of Spidey through working at Borders and MU. I'm a big fan, just not a collector off his work in particular.

Admittedly, I haven't kept up with him much at all. I realized buying singles was silly since my pile is huge and never caught back up.

I could go on with excuses, but I'll stop there.

You and your sad excuses for excuses... You better at least buy Zdarsky's Spectacular Spider-Man series!

Hey @dadbolt, remember when you thought the gloves had come off the other day concerning Superman? You should see my latest post in the DC Cinematic Universe thread, lol. I kinda let myself go a little 'cause it was what I needed at the end of a long day of work.

Whoever drew the first arc of Batgirl and the Birds of Prey is terrible at faces. They are all just blank with dead eyes.

Marvel Legacy Takes Hold this Fall

The stellar creative team of Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic are gonna give us "Marvel: Legacy," a Rebirth-esque one-shot dealing with prehistoric past, as well as more recent past, present, and future.

Corresponding with Legacy, a lot of titles are gonna return to their original legacy numbering.

As has been their rallying cry lately, this will both reassert their classic characters while simultaneously continuing to lean into their newer characters.

    I'm down.

Aaron and Ribic were a fantastic pair on Thor so I'm very excited.
