Stan Bowman deserves a lot of credit for not getting too tied to a lot of role players but paying Jonathan Toews 10.5m/AAV is just BAAAAAAAADDDD

 

Impossible to look past Caps/Leafs

 

Wow. All there is to say really.

 

I think the top three are probably this series, Caps/Leafs and Rangers/Habs.

I feel like this one has the added drama factor.

 

3 overtime games in the first 4 games of a series is nuts

 

I've been working nights and have mainly seen the West series, with EDM/SJ being up there for sure.

 

Kane gets that too.

 

that was probably the least lop-sided period of this entire series?

 

This building is INSANE btw

 

The Hawks being swept eases my 'Flames being swept' wounds. At least the Flames were competitive in their series.

 

Kane's been an art-ross caliber player for at least the last 2 years though.

 

I think the downfall of the Hawks this playoffs was how they put all the eggs in one basket of Panarin/Toews/Kane. Depth scoring is crucial in playoffs.

I do think the depth is decent but it's still not top tier compared to some other teams. They also had a defense who is pretty suspect and a fast team like Nashville can take advantage of that.

 

That penalty was weird by Maroon because like yeah Jones was out of his net but also Maroon could have easily avoided the trip.

 

This reffing is not good
