There's, what, a 80% chance it ends up getting some kind of movie deal, or made for TV deal, right?

By the way, West Wing sucks as an explainer for current events and politics in general, as do Harry Potter and Game Of Thrones, but I'm convinced Veep is 100% accurate. TWW is what Rahm thinks of himself but Veep is the more accurate portrayal

 

I was thinking it might get the HBO treatment and effectively act as a compliment to Game Change from a few years ago.

 

(I googled image searched 6 minute abs and now think literally every human alive has a better body than me)

 

The dudes name is Mook. Not even Mookie, which is a good name that many amazing people call themselves, but Mook.

And I should really hate that film, but for some reason, I enjoyed it when I saw it. Perhaps it was the schadenfreude.

I never believed in the sort of government we see on television, but Veep, above all, I think captures the stupidity, narcissism and hubris on which Washington runs.

 

I thought it was pretty well done. I did hate that it made me feel a smidgen bad for Palin at some points, but otherwise it seemed like a pretty good look into the campaign and all the shit that went down

The media was vicious about a few things and the campaign failed by not properly vetting her...she basically had a mental breakdown because she wasn't ready and they thought she was because they were incompetent.

I thought the film depicted her fairly accurately: a woman, in over her head, but ultimately, her lust for power and influence was her downfall.

Besides, I don't feel bad for her, since she's become a millionaire since that election and she's a terrible person.

 

My ability to feel sympathy for her died somewhere between 2008-2010.
