Members (Anton Yelchin, Alia Shawkat) of a punk-rock band and a tough young woman (Imogen Poots) battle murderous white supremacists at a remote Oregon roadhouse.

This is Saulnier's follow up to Blue Ruin.

Can't wait for this. Been anticipating this film since the final frames of Blue Ruin.

Had no idea this was the same guy who wrote/directed Blue Ruin. Really upped my anticipation

Like I needed another reason to want to see this, this interview has me sold, just the insane terror the script brought to him.

A little upset that I probably have to wait until 4/29 to see this. I was hoping for a semi-wide release this Friday.

Don't think I've ever been more tense watching a film than I was during this. Very curious to see how it holds on a second viewing.

Blue Ruin holds up. In fact it becomes much more tragic the second time.

Saw this a few days ago and absolutely loved it. It was a free screening and I wasn't familiar with the director so I kinda went in blind, but I was pleasantly surprised; I was hooked and on the edge of my seat the whole time.

I'd say it gets pretty violent as it goes. One shot in particular is really gruesome.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

    Definitely the most brutal gore.

I saw the Chicago premiere on Thursday (the day Prince died) and when one of the characters mentioned him the crowd erupted in applause. I had the biggest chills. Definitely one of the best theater experiences I've ever had.

Is this good enough to drive about 45 miles to see?

It was good, but not a ton of gas good.
