Yes, that's it. Thanks! I'm not sure I know what kind of game this is yet (in terms of what the actual gameplay is like), but I like what I see here. Might pick it up. Since this is a Vita game it would have been great on Switch though.

 

I'd definitely recommend the original Valkyria Chronicles on PS3/PC. It's a pseudo-RTS/strategy RPG style game where you control the individual members of an army in 3rd person view, moving them designated amounts and performing certain actions per turn. Really interesting gameplay that's well-done for how off-beat it may seem - would definitely recommend if you're in the market for something different.

 

Valkyria Chronicles is also available on PS4. It's what I have it for.

 

Yes, the original game is great (should also note that it's also on PS4 in addition to PS3/PC), such a fascinating mix of genres that works really well to make something that feels unique (plus even as a PS3 game it holds up graphically, has a wonderful style). I'm a little bummed they're going in a more typical ARPG style now that they're finally making another console game after a couple PSP sequels, hope it's still good though.

Haha. Might as well honestly lol. After P5 it's back to Horizon. Nier won't be a focus for a while.

 

Already 80% in Full Throttle. Damn it feels so good to be back.

 

How long is it?

 

I used to love Full Throttle so much. I'm definitely gonna grab the remaster eventually.

 

7-8 hours I think.

 

Really, really stoked at how things have been turning out w/ Double Fine so far. Broken Age seems promising from what I've played, Grim Fandango, DOTT and FT are remastered and back home with Schafer and there's a Psychonauts 2 on the way and the test footage so far looks fantastic.

 

Getting pretty excited for Injustice 2, these trailers/videos recently reminded me how much I enjoyed the first and I could use a new fighting game in my life.

Well, that's disappointing. I mean, this looks interesting, but I was really hoping it was connected to From.

 

The one reason I assumed it wasn't From related was because it's close enough to E3 that you save a big announcement like a new From game for that. God Eater is perfectly fine, I'd be interested to see their sort of take on a Souls game/similar type of dungeon RPG.

 

I hope we get a new From Software announcement at E3 and I hope it's not Bloodborne 2. If it is, I hope it's wildly different.

It's because I've played that game and what i loved about it was how unique and constantly surprising it was. If they were going to make another Souls like game I'd want an entirely fresh environment and story with different enemy types.

 

True. I said this in the Nioh thread, but I would love a space themed Souls .
