I wonder if a Paramore fall tour will surround that Riot Fest date, and Michigan will get a date that same week?

I'm kind of hoping for this. I'll be seeing Gorillaz the Monday after Riot Fest, which makes going even more unlikely for me, so I'd be down with a Paramore headliner

 

Don't forget about X, Buzzcocks and GBH for the old punks!

 

a large chunk of paramore's fanbase wouldn't go to a festival like this anyways, jawbreaker will pull more at a fest like this but if they have single shows paramore would draw more generally

Read a Noisey article and it said the rest of the lineup will be announced next month.

I don't remember where but I saw those will be announced tomorrow. I want to say it was Alt Press.

Is it safe to assume ADTR and Paramore will be closing a smaller stage on different nights? Both bands are probably too big for a late-afternoon slot.

I totally didn't see M.I.A is playing. Would totally see her, my roommate used to play her a bunch in college.

 

No probably the last band on the main stage before the headliners on whatever days they are on.

Yeah similiar scenario. I have a few guys that'll go to this scenes shows with me. In this scenario, neither can. My lady friend will be a good sport and go to whatever show I need some one to come with, if I buy her ticket, and I'll do the same for music she likes. The only time it's been a problem is when she seems me turn into a drunken disaster at like a PUP show or something (which has happened twice now).

 

Just bought my tickets! Now to get to Chicago from NY...

 

That's why I just buy the tickets so my boyfriend can't really argue, haha.

 

Lol, right there with ya. We're flying out from Albany. Figure we'll book hotels first, then airfare.

 

This was a pretty spur of the moment thing for me, I figured I would get the tickets and figure out the rest lol (like a real adult, right?). I'm on Long Island, so stuck flying out of JFK/LaGuardia most likely, which is always a real treat.

 

I want to fly this year so bad, I can't stand taking the megabus anymore but the price difference is insane.

 

THE FEST lineup announcement is tomorrow. I wonder if that's why Riot Fest bumped their announcement up a month.

 

Me and the girlfriend bought tickets the week the lineup was revealed last year on a whim. Figured out the rest in the weeks after. We flew out of Baltimore last year and had the best time!

 

My buddy drove us one year. It was miserable. I'll gladly pay the extra $300 a piece to get on a plane, play Mario Kart with each other for two hours, and then magically appear out of the sky in Chicago. However Megabus isn't an option obv otherwise I may have to put up with that misery
