I think Pierce The Veil may be the worst band I've seen live. And they had a knack for sneaking into support slots on some really great tours back in the day, so I suffered through that Beat It cover at least four times.

I despise that band and most bands that sound like that. Overproduced garbage..not saying they're bad dudes..just saying.

Maybe I just had an unlucky performance, I saw them open for Green Day after Crash Love came out, and Davey kept doing extremely weird shit with his voice that ruined the set for me.

I saw them on that tour and they were great, maybe it was an off night haha

Or maybe I've just gotten excellent nights each time

Yeah. That's right around the time I began to lose touch with the "hype" "it" bands of the Warped scene, ie PTV, BMTH, etc. Shout out to my first major depression episode for saving me from bad music or something, idk. Looking for silver linings.

I liked Pierce the Veil a bit a while back. Never listened to them much but I liked them

I was super bummed too, because Sing the Sorrow and the albums before were huge to me in high school. I might try again seeing them

question for you folks with contacts:

when you made the switch, did it make using a computer/phone more difficult? all of my vision stuff is for distance, but glasses never made reading on a screen difficult like these do.

also: do contacts work better during the day than at night? it's a whole new learning curve.

I can't think of many things I'd like to do less than going to a Sleeping With Sirens concert.

At one point, a younger friend of mine went to a Ronnie Radke's band/SWS/PTV tour and I was like HARD FUCKING PASS.

They were such a strange band

Like their vocals are the most grating and annoying thing on earth and if they had a polished vocalist they would've been AMAZING because their songwriting was so cool but it was so difficult to get past the vocal sound

That sounds like the absolute worst! Radke, alone, is enough to make me vom.

The guitar parts to some of those older PTV songs were so cool.

They're probably the first band I ever completely fell in love with, like based on who I am it makes sense that I wouldn't be pegged as a fan but if you ever saw any of my writing I've done (outside of music) you'd be like "Yeah he's definitely an AFI fan"

Sing The Sorrow, Ocean Avenue, and Page Avenue all came into my life around the same time and it's very hard for me to separate them from those years. And that's not a bad thing.

I never really saw much difference from day to night. It definitely takes getting used to when reading or looking at phone/computer screens, because I'm nearsighted so the contacts actually made my upclose vision worse.

this is what's happening to me. but my nearsightedness is so slight, they told me I shouldn't see an issue.

I will say that you do get used to it, and it won't be an issue unless you go an extended period without your contacts in.
