Yeah I read that run recently and loved it as well. I think I slightly prefer the new run though, both stories have been really interesting and I'm glad that Wonder Woman is at the forefront (in most issues, they still have a few villain focused stuff). I got heavy into Lazarus recently so I'm glad to hear that he's going to have more time to work on his other great projects.

I'm still annoyed at DC cancelling Legend of Wonder Woman 2. I'd take another 9 issues of that over pretty much anything else Wonder Woman-related they've done the last couple years (besides True Amazon, which I still need to buy and read).

X-Men Blue was a blast, and everything I thought it would be. Bunn has a great understanding of why people love the X-Men. I thought that he did a great job with the way the O5 interacted with one another. The tone was much more lighter hearted than his previous books, and shows he's capable of telling different stories. Lighthearted, but not cheesy and still serious is what I would describe the issue. I also think O5 Hank McCoy is the most interested I've been in regards to reading about Hank McCoy in a very long time. He's being set up for interesting character development.

I LOVE O5 Jean. Still not excited at the prospect of love triangles, but his Jean was dynamic, witty, and felt like a combination of BMB's Jean and classic Jean.

The Juggernaut fight was neat,, and I'm intrigued by what's going on with Jimmy Hudson. He's met the O5 before, but now his memory is gone and only they will remember him. The way the book comes to end has me even more excited. Generation X, The future Brotherhood, and perhaps a different time line Xavier all have me wondering what all is about to go down in this series.

    Few more issues...

Final issue of Black Widow was awesome. This series was such a blast and so nice to look at. I love that there was no narration and at times little to no dialogue in this series, letting artist/co-writer Chris Samnee churn out some of the best work of his career. Hope he and Waid tackle another Marvel character before too long.

Superman #20 was good. Any issue that Gleason illustrates in this series is a good one. Any chance for Superman to shine his awesome light opposite grumpy butt Batman is also always good.

This was the best issue of Spider-Man in a while, maybe the best since Miles joined main continuity. Funny that the cover art was so weak, but the interiors were so strong. I don't get the decision to have, late in the issue, the set-up for the conversation that awkwardly framed the Spider-Man half of the crossover w/ Spider-Gwen; the success of this issue just helped shine a light on how those crossover issues were so weirdly handled.

Read the Riverdale one shot today and it definitely explains some of the things from the show. Excited for the Riverdale series.

I was in an Image mood last night so I read the first issues of Moonshine and Royal City. Both were very good books, but with entirely different vibes. I haven't decided if I am going to stick with either of them yet. There is just so much good stuff being published. Of the two, I think Royal City has the upper hand at the moment.

I'm really glad Bendis has kept May/MJ/Gwen in the Miles Morales stuff. Having gone through all the Ultimate stuff makes those moments really impactful. Issue 200 is great.

If the animated Miles film includes Peter dying as his Uncle Ben moment, I hope it includes those characters in supporting roles. They're who I miss the most now that the Ultimate universe is gone, especially Gwen.

I was worried they'd be gone after Secret Wars but didn't know for sure, damn. I mean obviously they can't have two of everyone but still, I'll miss them. Do we know what happened to 616 Miles yet? At the end of Spider-men it had Peter googling him but I couldn't find what he supposedly found out..

Bendis claimed around the time Secret Wars happened that there'd be a Spider-Men sequel answering that question, but no hints since then.

Maybe it'll just be one of those story seeds that never grow into anything. Or, maybe there'll be a story eventually about why some aspects of the Ultimate universe carried over after Secret Wars, especially with the recent guy in Jessica Jones who knew about the incursions and claimed to be from another reality. I mean, if we can sort out Superman's post-Rebirth combined continuity, we can do the same for Miles, lol.

It is interesting that Miles' family made it over, along with his friends Ganke and Bombshell. And also interesting that Molecule Man resurrecting Miles' mom at the end of Secret Wars because he gave him a cheeseburger (yes, really, lol; it works in context) hasn't really been addressed. A story like Amazing Spider-Man: One Moment in Time or Superman: Reborn sorting out this continuity could be cool (though I'm also fine with just rolling with it, lol).

This book is incredible. The magical realism and the crumbling city set in a family drama. It's sooooo good.

New Wonder Woman creative team is Shea Fontana and Mirka Andolfo. Fontana is currently contracted to write 5 issues.

I am not familiar with their work, but I am hoping for the best! And an all female writer / penciler creative team is pretty awesome.

Me neither but I'm going to check out her DC Super Hero Girls stuff. I don't necessarily think it's for me but it looks cool. And yes, very happy for an all female team.

i'm going to sell most of my floppies. keeping some #1s, a lot of batman stuff i like, and a few others that i love the covers for. it was just taking up way too much space, and trades just look so damn pretty on my shelves. not to mention it's easier to scan my trades and see something i want to reread, as opposed to floppies that just sit in my long boxes rarely looked at.

of course i'm going to take the money i make and put it back into trades. already placed a decent sized order on ist last night, picked up the remaining snyder/capullo batman books, completing my collection of those. also got snot girl 1 and southern bastards 1.

if anyone has some potential interest in my single issues, i can type up what i all have. don't really want to take the time to do it if no one is interested haha. mostly dc and image stuff by the way.

If you have floppies of runs that you like and haven't bought trades of yet, you should look into getting them bound. I haven't taken the dive for anything yet myself (probably will try my first one soon), but I've looked into the binding community, and it's pretty cool. Some people go all out and spent a lot of money on making a really official-looking bound volume, lol, but you can get spend less and still get a really good product; from what I've seen, this seems like the best "low-end" place. When you consider how much it could cost to re-buy some stuff in trades/hardcovers, I don't think it's a bad idea to look into this option.
