I have class tomorrow morning butttt this Sailor Jerry is delicious and this is my only day off this week so here I am.

 

I feel rum gives a monster of a hangover if over-indulged. I generally avoid it. Debating on drinking tonight.

 

Honestly, as long as I drink enough water I've been lucky to be able to avoid hangovers. On days where I have stuff to do, I try to limit myself to 2 drinks and I'm usually good haha

 

Ya definitely, water is most important. At the very least it'll curb the headache since most of the time that's caused by the dehydration.

 

I got so fucked up in Nashville last weekend that on the car ride home, I had to drink a liter of Pedialyte, 3 liters of water, and a vitamin water in an attempt to not be sick on the 8 hour car ride. That was miserable. But Nashville was awesome.

 

SO MANY PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE MAGIC THAT IS PEDIALYTE.

 

I was on a steady diet of microbrews and Old Fashioned's over the weekend in Portland, and man, I wish I knew about this thread.

 

It really does help. Tastes awful though. I wonder what's in Pedialyte that isn't in Gatorade...

Pretty terrible day for me.

 

Pedialyte has a much better balance of salts to sugar while gatorade goes higher on the carbs (it is an energy drink after all). The "dehydration" from drinking is pretty different from dehydration from exercise, that's why pedialyte works better.
