Old ap.net interview with Mark, thought it was an interesting read with Tom leaving the band not long after!

Super interesting to read this know what comes a year and a half later. You can see some of the hints at it on marks replies

 

All this NFG talk makes me think of that clip from urethra chronicles when Tom was like "hey hey who am I? SOME GIRLS ARE CRAAAZY"

 

Little late on the discussion, but my first real concert was the final US Pantera tour with Slayer. The openers were Morbid Angel, Skrape, and Static-X. My dad got my brother and I tickets and it was awesome.

 

Yeah I know, I'm holding out until the 28th though. I don't like listening to leaked albums before they're released.

I checked out Miserable. I like that one a lot I may be buying this CD lol

 

If you liked the experimentation on Catalyst and Coming Home I think you will like this.

 

i couldn't hold out after hearing about the album. I was actually upset it leaked, but I also pre-ordered it before listening. So that helped me feel better haha.

I think Green Day and Foxy Shazam make up all of my top 5 concert experiences haha

 

I saw Foxy Shazam open for Senses Fail once. That dude is hilarious

 

My top concert experiences have to be..

1. Brand New TDAGARIM anniversary tour in Portland, Maine
2. blink-182 reunion tour in '09 (Boston and Hartford)
3. Yellowcard Ocean Avenue acoustic anniversary tour in Providence RI
4. Cartel Chroma anniversary.. somewhere in Mass
5. Taking Back Sunday- return of John and Sean before the S/T in Boston OR their New Again tour with Anberlin at Hampton Beach

Honerable mentions: Projekt Revolution in '06 or '07, Paramore during Riot! with JEW, some tour with Mayday, All Time Low, and the Maine, aaand... Idk too many more.

This past October was the first time I got to see TBS with the full OG lineup. The show before that Adam had a family emergency and the guy from under oath filled in and before that was the NA tour and project rev. So worth it. Also brings me to my next question. Which Projekt Rev ? If it was the one with TBS and MCR that's 06 I believe. 07 had Hawthorne Heights and Saosin. I think.

 

Projekt Revolution 2007 was Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, and Saosin.

 

I still need to see TBS during this Tidal Wave Era. I've seen them at least twice each album cycle. Weird that I haven't seem them in support of Tidal Wave though. IDK why I haven't. I think thats their best album. Not my favorite for nostalgic reasons, but by far their best. I hope they develop on that sound.

Saw them once with Fazzi on a Festival in Belgium, awesome awesome show

 

Fazzi just sounds so good live

 

Yeah he sounded better than Adam did at that show

 

Oh I forgot about seeing Paul Wall open for +44. That was awesome.

 

Tidal wave took a couple listens for it to grow on me aside from a few tacks but I love the album front to back now. Watching them preform it in full was AWESOME back in October. Those songs transition love really well, and Death Wolf/Call Come Running/Fences need to be mainstays in their set. And I got right up on the stage and caught Nolans guitar pick so it's definitely in my top five shows. Sadly there was an asshole yelling "Play your old shit this shit sucks!!" Really loudly half the time until his gf bitch smacked him.

 

I hate people like this at shows. So disrespectful to the band.
