Your bedroom is the unfinished basement. You can decorate it as you wish. Rent is $850 a month. You can access the apartment through the back door. No need to use the front door.

I'm no financial expert or even someone that can take a hint but this seems like a great deal!

Today's also a lame day because the (trashy) radio show I listen to every morning is having their annual bikini pageant (full of "instagram smokeshows") which is always super uncomfortable/misogynistic/again, just very uncomfortable.

It's a tremendous deal, really. One of the best deals. I first looked at this house while vacationing in Palm Beach in 1982. Almost immediately I put in a bid of $15 million, and it was promptly rejected. Over the next few years, the foundation signed contracts with several other buyers at higher prices than I’d offered, only to have them fall through before closing. Each time that happened, I put in another bid, but always at a lower sum than before. Finally, in late 1985, I put in a cash offer of $5 million, plus another $3 million for the furnishings in the house. Apparently, the foundation was tired of broken deals. They accepted my offer, and we closed one month later. The day the deal was announced, the Palm Beach Daily News ran a huge front-page story with the headline MAR-A-LAGO’S BARGAIN PRICE ROCKS COMMUNITY. Soon, several far more modest estates on property a fraction of Mar-a-Lago’s size sold for prices in excess of $18 million. I’ve been told that the furnishings in Mar-a-Lago alone are worth more than I paid for the house. It just goes to show that it pays to move quickly and decisively when the time is right.

I just remembered it's only a four day work week so that made today a little better

I dealt with @dadbolt. I rented him a piece of land. He'll pay me more for one night than the land is worth for two years, and then I won't let him use the land. That's what we should be doing. I don't want to use the word 'screwed', but I screwed him.

  16. Thanks so much ! I think 3 or 4 takes, I didn't have a tab or anything but it's not a hard song to play tho. On the contrary I did some from Norma Jean, Touché Amoré and Memphis May Fire this morning. The latter's song is fucking hard, and I say that as someone who can play Protest The Hero and other technical bands !!!!! I did like 15 takes and i still couldn't get it right. No wonder they don't play it live anymore, and even dumbed down their sound otherwise the guitarist would end up smashing his guitar on stage.

They are a terrible genericore band that used to be a good southern metalcore band

    They have one good EP

I agree. The first EP with the Cowbell sing was great, I stopped caring afterwards. They were good live before Chase left. Haven't seen them since

  22. Yep their songs until Unconditional or the album after are more or less tiring to learn. The one I was talking about is Be Careful What You Wish For. Its studio version kind of sucks because Chango's production is a brick of loudness war, but the Guitar Hero mix makes all the guitar parts stand out. Some of the lead guitars are insane, I don't know how they manage tho play through the whole thing.

And I also recommend their 2007 EP and Sleepwalking, if you're a fan of Every Time I Die, early He Is Legend, and A Static Lullaby. The 2010 EP and The Hollow aren't bad if you're into genericore, then they quickly turned to shit.

  23. Not only they lost big with Chase's departure, but they also discarded Kellen's clean vocals which is dumb because he's a great singer. Honestly, I like Sleepwalking but I still wonder what it could have been with Chase and Kellen's vocals. Both were present on the early live versions from 2008.

This pretty much sums up the band for me at this point lol. I try not to judge but he sure makes it hard
