Part of me feels like a lot of this new blink stuff was mainly Mark and Feldman together. Especially on California as a whole based off interviews Mark had. "John came up with this melody", "John said we needed another joke song so we wrote this down after grabbing coffee toghether", "John made me sing the Na Na's". Haha...Freaking John.

 

Yeah, I'd like for them to play that. I liked No Future more though.

 

Yeah that one I don't get. Everyone in the band, even Feldmann, were super excited for it to be released and thought fans would have a blast with it live. I hope Reddit isn't the case. I'd much rather hear Rabbit Hole live instead of hearing a song like Dumpweed again for example.

 

yeah, i liked Rabbit Hole more. the choruses were better than the ones on "No Future" in my opinion.

 

Rabbit Hole also gives me a bad taste bc when I was listening to the song for the first time and about to leave for work, I got an unpleasant email from the VP of the company in regards to a mistake I made the previous day hahaha. I hate when something like that ruins a listening experience.

 

yeah, i feel like the band hyped it up saying "fans of our old music will love this!" and then it came out and got negative reactions from people (Reddit flipped their shit) and i am POSITIVE that those haters tweeted everyone in the band telling them how bad it was and shit.

but I loved it the moment I heard it and just want to be at a show where they play it live!

 

Any song except this is home for me lol, that's the only Blink song I regularly hit skip on

 

Same I really want to hear RH live

 

I think its pretty awesome that it looks as if fans are wanting to hear more new stuff live over the hits. Says a lot about the band's catalog.

 

Last time I saw Blink there were several fights that happened in front of me (it was at the people's open so there was a bunch of wasted people). I try not to let things like that ruin concerts but after I found someone's blood on my clothes my friends and I just left. I know it was none of Blink's fault but it gave me sour taste and I would skip Blink whenever their songs would come on shuffle for a few weeks afterwards. Not exactly the same thing, but I know where you're coming from.

 

I don't like Rabbit Hole very much but would definitely like to hear it live. I think it'd translate so well.

 

Weren't they supposed to play Rabbit Hole every day for the rest of their lives? Lol

 

Isn't crazy how we stuff like that happens? Like, there are some good songs I can't listen to simply bc they were playing while I was having a bad experience with something. Unfortunately, Yellowcard's Southern Air album reminds of a dark time in my life. Great album, but many songs take me back to that terrible moment haha.

 

lol looking at it now I think Rabbit Hole is a pretty good song. I just remember at the time equating it with the blink bunny and stuff, thinking it would be all about the band and the fans and whatnot that I was disappointed when it wasn't

seems pretty petty now but I remember building this whole thing up in my head of what it was gonna be like

 

Clearly Tom's fault, because he's the one who breaks promises.

 

Lol there were two fights when I saw them last year. Luckily I was just mostly entertained haha

 

Didn't Mark say something similar to this and how surprised he was in a recent interview??

 

At my date there were 2 groups of girls (one were doing a bachelorette party) and they were talking shit and screaming at each other. Then one of them decides to throw a beer, almost hits me, I duck, and it hits one of the girls square in the face. Right then blink took the stage and the curtains dropped, and there was a 5 on 5 brawl....

 

I once got a speeding ticket while driving to a blink show. Also kinda ruined the mood for the night haha.

 

I once had a friend who at Blinks reunion tour got super wasted and tried to fight me because he thought in his drunken mind that I ripped him off (someone else told his drunk ass they paid less for a ticket then we did). I just moved to a different area but it could have went worse

 

I bought my tickets last tour during presale for $25(?) a piece and got them for four of my other friends, too. We had another friend who decided to go the day of and paid $70 for his....then one in the original group had to bail haha.

So I was out $25 and our last-minute friend spent almost $50 more than he had to. Bummer.

 

are we getting Pregnant this weekend?
