Not having an allegiance to sports teams is freeing, it doesn't seem very fun the way y'all describe it

 

The Angels shouldn't draw your it's for a few years yet

 

It feels very similar to having a political party

 

It can be emotionally draining at key times but as long as you take a step back and remember that it's a game and the sun will rise tomorrow regardless of if your team loses, you'll be okay.

 

It's amazing that I'm not ranked high enough at my office to write a quarterly letter, yet the people who do always bring their letters to me to fix them. Ugh. Money/promotion please.

 

True but they keep my M's down in the AL West standings while being mediocre with the walking corpse of Pujols and the held hostage that is Mike Trout and that always drives me nuts.

I've seen my team make 2 World Series, and only win one game between both. Baseball is exhausting for me at this point

 

I can't honestly complain too much considering the streak of success the Cards have had in my lifetime. Now watching my team get beat by the Red Sox twice and having to deal with one of the worst fanbases under the sun gloating and rubbing it in my face, that's the roots of a deep, bitter resentment right there.

 

Now that said, one of my best friends is a Sox fan and the Sox fans on here are cool as shit so they are spared my rage.

 

What's real bad is Sophie is a Thunder fan and I have to deal with her team having a shot at a finals run while mine sits at home.

At least she knows the Cowboys are the best.

I wish STL had a basketball team

 

Technically, the Bulls would be my NBA team but at this point, I'd be better off watching a garbage can be set on fire.

 

Now's the time to get on the Suns bandwagon.

Might as well, those kids are young and they're showing some promise.

 

What pisses me off is my friend who decided he needed his own team so he started rooting for the Thunder. The second KD jumped to the warriors, he jumped too. What an ass.

 

It's not the trendy move. We have some good picks this year though and the talent is raw and hungry. Lots of cap space too.

 

There's no justice in the world if Russ doesn't get unanimous MVP this year.
