I've been fast travelling to Death Mountain, dropping everything on the ground so they cook, then picking them up. I hardly use any buffs during battle, so I just need the extra hearts.

 

Finished my second Divine Beast last night (the Goron one) and also went to get the Master Sword (The Koroks pretending to grab the sword and playing dead was just the best). It's still blowing my mind how much of the map I have yet to uncover after ~45 shrines. This game is too good.

 

Last night I finished all the towers (map completely discovered), my third beast (lizard), and am up to 40 shrines.

 

I have 1 shrine left. I haven't gone to the castle yet. Probably going to have to do it now. I was holding off and doing a bunch of other stuff.

 

I want to go to the castle just to check it out, but all the guardians terrify me haha.

 

If you come across enemies with a bow, let them fire off a couple rounds of arrows at you and just pick them up. I think it generally stops after about 5. Then kill them and they usually drop like a bundle of 5. That's how I got most of mine.

 

If you can master parrying it's fine. I've gotten to the point where I actively seek them out.

 

I feel like in I'm good at this time with the ones on the ground, but the flying ones I have trouble with. Not sure if it's in my head or if they're actually different.

 

Every time I watch Youtube I see people in insane looking armor. Where do you get new armor? I've been to 3 towns I think that sell it, but that's about it. I have heat armor, swim armor, and then the regular armor from what I think is the first place you go.

 

I'm a little sad I only have 27 shrines, 1 dungeon and Ganon left

 

I think both the Stealth and Soldier's Armor are in Kakariko, and I've come across some Climbing and Barbarian gear in various shrines. Other than that, I have exactly what you just named.

 

Finally got all the Twilight gear

 

I broke down and bought a NFC card for the Fierce Deity set.

 

I've been reading up on that but it seems you need to have an android device to set it up right?

 

To hack it yourself. Thats why I just bought one already made on ebay. Got it for 12 bucks. The dude even made it into like a holofoil trading card looking thing.

This is awesome news, but it means the next one we get won't be for 4+ years.

 

I've done like 20 shrines, 11 seeds, and I'm able to travel to the first beast in Zora's domain but I have no desire to do it! I'm having so much fun riding around finding shrines and expanding the map. Question about the orbs upgrades, will the heart containers stop at a certain point, then you have to do stamina? I want to know if there's a set amount of stamina and hearts, or do you ultimately decide? I don't like the pressure of that decision!

 

Stamina maxes out. I think heart doesn't (or I haven't gotten to it yet).

 

Does anyone know if there is a good walkthrough online that has the shrines incorporated in the main quest?

All of the walkthrough pages I’ve found either have the main quest (with few shrines sprinkled in only if they are on the way of the main path) or of just the shrines.

I really shouldn’t use a guide, but there are just so many shrines to find!

I have been trying to look for shrines from the towers and use stamps on the map, but man there are a lot that are not visible from the towers and I would prefer to have like at least 80% of the shrines done before finishing the main quest.

 

You can either max out hearts or stamina, not both which is super frustrating for someone with ocd like me haha

 

That's my problem!! I don't like this.

 

Just did the shrine with the ice block escort quest. Easily my favorite shrine so far. Just phenomenally designed

 

Hearts max at 30. If you do all 120
Shrines you can have 30 hearts and 2 2/5 stamina
