I think it has to do with licensing plus it's probably not worth their time for a small subsection of the population.

 

I get that, I just personally love that feature. They have enough $$$ to cover it, I don't see why they couldn't work something out. Maybe even make people pay a small fee if they're in a real ongoing league as a dl.

 

I think there's also more moving parts than there is to license from the MLB and MLBPA. The Show doesn't have real minor league stadiums and I heard it's because they would need to individually license from every park, while the process for MLB parks is either easier or at least worth the cost.

 

Also imagine how crazy those in season roster updates are to do. And the announcing part of it. Take months just to record names.

 

Ugh. This makes an already bad trade worse.

 

I'm waiting for the rosters so I can start a franchise, they're so good.

Operation Sports have a lot of good resources for the game. I go to them for sliders, and the Sounds of the Show pack someone put together looks great.

 

Braves statement regarding Hector Olivera:

“We are extremely disappointed and troubled to learn of the allegations involving Hector Olivera. We will continue to gather information and will address this matter appropriately as we determine the facts. Major League Baseball has placed Olivera on Administrative Leave effective immediately.”

During the period of Administrative Leave, Olivera shall be on the Restricted List for the purposes of the Club’s Reserve List limits. As a result, the Braves have recalled infielder Daniel Castro from Triple-A Gwinnett.

I've played it a whole bunch over the years and I still suck at batting

 

Pitching needs to get it together. Bucholz lack the emotional intelligence to be a great pitcher anymore. You can see he doesn't have the confidence. It's a stark difference between now and let's say early 2013.

Our bullpen also needs to pick it up. All the runs mean nothing if we can't keep the other team off the bases.

Agreed though that the O's would be doing the same thing to every other team right now.

 

I feel like Farrell never knows when to pull Buccholz either. He looked pretty sharp through 5 but you could tell he'd lost it quickly and having a long hook with him then just never pays off.

I watched a bit of the Braves/Nats last night and holy crap, I've never seen Turner Field that empty for a game. It looked like Tampa or Miami. It must be murder for Braves fans these days. You have nothing to look forward to but a brand new sports complex - but the team sucks so bad.

 

Have not turned on the tv for a playoff game?

I guess I haven't. I went to turner field in 2014 for a Red Sox game and it was packed. I don't really follow the Braves too closely anymore, to be honest.
