No Future is higher than I would have thought (1.9m higher than Rabbit Hole is big). Good - best song on the album.

Also TOOTM being less than half the next song saddens me so much :(

 

Parking Lot is about to pass it. Weird. It has one of my favorite verses on the whole album

 

If I had to guess I'd say being the penultimate track hurts it because you will have lots of people who give up on the album halfway through. Same reason why the numbers get lower as the album goes on on Spotify.

 

Fair, although it doesn't seem to hurt San Diego. Well, on second thought, maybe it does and San Diego should have millions of more views ;)

 

Even though the fanbase is pretty split on "Sober", I truly wish they had marketed it as the second single. It could've worked so well as a cross-genre hit. Pop and rock stations could play it. Fun summer song. Maybe potential to do that this summer, but doubtful.

 

Yeah, the weather is too nice out to be blasting HISALP on the radio (even though I just listened to it a few hours ago in my car)

 

HISALP Works best for me when it's a night time drive with a cool beeeze yet warm or if it's a thunderstorm outside

Not sure if it's been mentioned in the past, but blink is the cover photo for the "Rock This" playlist which is on Spotify's homepage right now. Pretty cool that "Parking Lot" is the first song.

Speaking of a weird Blink story, my ex girlfriend (Who I am still kind of in love with), were talking the other day and I told her that HISALP reminded me of her in a way, and the guy who she was talking to said that Sober reminded him of her. Now she sees who the prize catch was. Haha

 

Nice man lol. I am sure she sees the truth now lmao. Then again I told my gf that SOOHM reminded me of her and as you saw when you met us at the show she didn't leave me.

 

Haven't posted in here in some time....Just wanna say that Sober will be on blast all summer, again.

This is the first album Blink-182 has put out without Tom Delonge. Are you guys still on good terms?

I’ve spoken with him a couple times. I have nothing but the highest regard for Tom and wish him the best in everything that he does.

Speaking of Tom, the dude seems to be pretty big in to extra terrestrial life and aliens. Where did this passion, or should we say obsession, come from?

I don’t know, but he’s always been really in to aliens and conspiracy theories. It’s always been something that’s very important to him and he’s always pursued. He does a lot of research and gathers a bunch of information, and he would talk about it all the time.

I liked California a lot but.....I'd take Misery over everything Blink released since Untitled

 

It's in my top 5 of this era for sure. I love the positive feedback it's getting

 

If nothing else I truly hope sometime in the future Mark and Tom can have an actual friendship again.

 

I'm glad that they have at least talked.

 

This split seemed like it stemmed more from inactivity more than from actual fighting or anything.

Doesn't sound like they dislike each other, but it also doesn't seem like they really have any desire to be friends and hang out outside of music. Once the music thing wasn't materializing, there really wasn't anything left. I have friends like that as well. No bad blood, but if you don't bond over that one specific thing anymore, there's just not much there.

 

Unfortunately, HISALP and the title track don't do anything for me. I don't even have them on my phone and I skip them on the cd lol.

 

That is true. I have friends like that too. I still I have my fingers cross that, over time, Tom just joins the band to play special shows/anniversary shows, but stays out of the writing process. Matt is doing a great job.

 

Yep, agree with all that. I think mostly all fans are pretty settled in by now. Tom's not even really putting out music at all anymore, so I think it's clear that a full-time blink with Tom just can't exist.
