I was homeschooled, but there's kind of this whole underground homeschooling scene and it very much has a hierarchy of students just like any normal high school, but i've never seen anything like it in public school depictions in media or books.

High school was great for me. However, middle school was a terrible experience. Kids are fucking mean.

Same, I hate everyone from my hs. I'm like a less than 5 friend tops kinda of guy.

Did you guys go to fairly large schools? I graduated with 150 so we all pretty much grew up together. Everyone became an asshole in 6th grade, but once 9th hit, we all kind of became a little family. I still see many of them today.

I vaguely keep up with some friends from high school, but I moved up here between Jr and Sr year and that just kinda ruins everything.

They (SOTY) are still loved to death in the Lou. As long as you play their first two albums.

I've just never been good at socializing. I talked to people in my classes and considered them friends but didn't hang out with anyone outside school except for one or two people

I was zoned for a school that had 5500 students, which was a large factor in me remaining homeschooled.

I went to a small school. Could keep up with my classmates but I refuse to do so for personal reasons.

I feel like their third got the shaft. It's really a great album.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Middle school was absolutely the worst. Kids were relentless about my mole, I got it removed before high school, but they still didn't let me live it down.

I graduated with like 400+. My high school is huge

Omg. I would've hated a school that large.

It is, it got no love here though. Trust me on that, you didn't see 105.7 The Point spin those singles on heavy rotation.

I don't know how many people went to my school or how many graduated. Never something I thought about

But I probably knew like 10% of my graduating class

What a trivial thing you know? Kids just don't give a shit. Believe you me, some kid who made fun of you for that remembers that today and they feel like assholes for it.

Midway through sophomore year, they built a different one and I got zoned for that one, and it would've been 4500, but Florida lets you choose which school you attend from a list. All of them were over 4000.

My homeschooling group was probably about thirty of us who did a ton of things together. The power struggles/dating in that group was intense.

It's odd to me that people were down with the second LP but not the third. I'd get it if they didn't play anything off the fourth, but damn..

I had three groups of friends in hs thatd I do everything with. Each group was of three people too. Maybe this is why I like thrice so much

I saw SOTY at Warped right before their first album came out and nobody really knew who they were. they were really good, and they had tons of energy. that song "Dive Right In" I think it's called and the opener off their debut were both very, very intense live.
