The ending of that game felt a LOT like the loss to the Bulls. Really well defended, great shot. You hate to lose, but just have to tip your hat to a shot like that.

@ncarrab Kyrie let it rip in his interview. At least we know they are pissed off. Let's see if they can get going a bit.

I mean I would hope he would be upset, Current NBA champions basically playing 500. ball the last month or so.

"If you a muthafucka, you want two, you want three, you want four." :crylaugh::crylaugh::crylaugh:

I saw Vardon tweet that Kyrie said that, but this is the first time I saw video for it.

Also, they've actually been playing .500 ball for nearly HALF the season now. 19-18 in their last 37 games. Just dreadful, really. I'm hoping them losing the No. 1 seed for the past 48 hours really kicked them into gear. I know they don't care about seeding, but it still goes to show that if they aren't going to take this seriously, there are teams in the East who are aiming to take what the Cavs have.

Tonight should be another tough game for them, they typically don't play well against the Bulls but I expect them to come out and win.

    TNT Bulls tho...

Yeah, that and the fact they're still fighting for the 8th seed will make this a tough game for the Cavs. Cavs are 0-3 vs Bulls this year including a game where the Cavs game up 78 points in the paint to them in December.

The third loss came without LeBron and Love, though.

Kevin Love was the guest on the Chris Mannix podcast. Really good episode. Super honest. Still trying to think which team it was for sure he was talking about in his story.

I think he was referring to the Clippers, because that is who had the 7th pick of the draft that year and he said 'I had a guarantee at 7, so people can fill in the blanks."

Bulls may have that TNT record and I hope they win tonight, but the Cavs have something to prove. I would hate to be any team playing them tonight haha. Go Bulls.

I took it to mean that the Clips basically promised to take him 7 and that he worked out for every team in the top 7, but Chicago since they had the first pick and were taking Rose. Elgin Baylor was still in charge of roster moves and he was not the out of shape white guy Love talked about.

Edit: My guess was the Knicks because Donnie Walsh was there at the time.

Celtics to ever score 2,000 in a season:

    Bird (4x), Havlicek (2x), Pierce (3x), Jones...and IT.

So far so good on the defensive front for the Cavs tonight in the first half. That's progress. I'll take it.

  22. Think of Shaq at the end of his career, when he got to that number, and how LeBron is still playing at a level at least three times above that ...

It's really quite ridiculous. Shaq was such a dominant presence at his peak. I think injuries towards the end robbed him a bit. But to think that LeBron will just quietly gallivant past him on the all-time list is hard to really put into perspective for me right now.
