Looks solid from the trailer, always been meaning to watch the TV original though so will get on that before this comes out.

When I was a kid, my English teacher told me the original adaptation was the scariest movie she'd seen.

Never saw it so I guess I'll just do this one. Also, I got a lot of Stranger Things vibes.

Pennywise in the sewer and on the projector were very creepy. Wasn't as much a fan as his "attack" at the end of the trailer. Still wish Fukanaga was directing, but definitely interested

I somehow doubt he was recalling a film he's never seen while watching Stranger Things

Yeah, that gave me the clown attack in the "Poltergeist" remake vibes.

I think it will be more faithful to the novel than the miniseries.

The shot of Henry Bowers and the bullies sitting on the Trans Am is pretty cool. That kid's performance will be one of the most important in a film focusing on the children.

He could be the true villain.

 

A lot of speculation from me but I think the stuff that goes down at 29 Neibolt Street will take up a decent portion of part one.

The leper is in this for sure. I wonder if the werewolf will show up too...?

 

Damn that was a fine trailer.

 

That trailer definitely got me interested in this movie.

I've never actually watched the original. Only seen pieces. Definitely looks creepy.

 

I guess I'm in the minority here, but the trailer did nothing for me.
