Yeah. He and Buccellato wrote the series, he illustrated it, and Buccellato colored it. So, really, he did have a cowriter, lol. I liked what I read a lot, though I'm sure a large portion of my enjoyment came specifically from the art. I currently plan on reading the Rebirth Trinity series just 'cause he's doing it.

Have you read their run on 'Tec? It ranks up there with Snyder and Capullo's run as my favorite Batman book during The New 52.

Nah. I haven't even read any of Snyder's Batman yet, lol. Basically everything Batman I've read in recent years has been something focused on other characters. I think I'm gonna read Snyder's All-Star Batman, but what won me over was that it co-stars Two Face.

Finished Superior Spider Man. That was fun. Ending felt a bit rushed.

Also read Black Panther #1 and loved it.

Anyone here familiar with getcomics.info? Was wondering what thoughts are on it since it seems like we all make an effort to go out and buy comics or pay for things like Marvel Unlimited.

Taking a break from Spider-Man to read catch up on Moon Knight.

Honestly, they're nothing too spectacular. The most recent crossover was Battle of the Atom and it was really pointless. Maybe start with All-New X-Men vol 1 and see how you like that.

I wrote this for the comic group I'm in and thought I'd post it here:
Today I finished reading...vols 1-5 of Fatale by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillip, from Image. I bought all 5 trades from a Comixology sale and let me tell ya...this was the fastest I read a series at one time. I still am digesting the ending, but this might break my top three series. I know this creative team from what I've read of The Fade Out, and I hear their Criminal series is a classic, so I gave this a try. A man named Nick attends a funeral for his godfather, a writer who is the best friend of his father. His estate is left to him, since his father is in a mental hospital. He visits it and finds an old manuscript for a book that was never published. Men storm the mansion and shoot at him, while his godfather's "granddaughter" coincidentally comes in to save him, shooting all these men. They escape in a car, but get chased down by more men in a plane! They collide with the car and there's an explosion. Nick loses his leg, wakes up in a hospital with that manuscript and becomes obsessed with this woman...and this is only the first issue. A majority of the series is told via flashbacks of the "granddaughter", Josephine, and her life. It cuts back to Nick during "Interludes" and some later issues when everything connects. Josephine turns out to be an immortal with a literal power over men, allowing her to control their emotions and actions. Her enemy is a demon God, who takes the form of a man that reincarnates whenever he died. They are playing a game of cat-and-mouse. This book combines noir and Lovecraft request stories that make this something very unique. Expect gore, nudity, demonic blood rituals, excellent poetic writing, and unique art.

im pretty sure its just straight downloads of scans of comics (same as torrenting). Im not one to frown upon pirating usually, but Id advice not using it only because the comic book industry has so little sales as it is, they need every cent they can get.

Trust me I don't DL, I just couldn't really figure it out on mobile. That's what I was thinking though. There are quite a few people that DL single issues and then buy Trades so the comic industry is still getting money in one way or another but I understand your sentiment.

I haven't read any of my backlog in months. I basically just read trades when they come out now because it is significantly cheaper.

Yeah just straight downloads. Not gonna lie, I've downloaded stuff from it. But more often than not I forget about whatever I downloaded and just read the ones I've bought or read stuff on MU. I definitely buy in trades or grab those $1 Image first issues when I'm unsure if I'll like a series.

Sometimes the site is useful for finding event reading orders. Or things like the reading order for Grant Morrisons Batman run and you don't need to download anything to see that info.

Read the first Black Panther: Man Without Fear trade today. Really good stuff.

Basically, Black Panther had relinquished his crown to Shuri after a conflict with Doom when Daredevil's Shadowlands shenanigans went down. Without his kingly resources and with the blessing of Matt, who also needs time away, T'Challa becomes a vigilante in Hell's Kitchen. It's a must-read for fans of street-level heroics.

Ok, so, apparently the Superwoman title is about Lois Lane with Superman's powers, which are taking their toll on her. Sounds like a mix between All-Star Superman and Jane Foster Thor, lol.

Really I thought it was gonna be about Superwoman from the Crime Syndicate and that confused me about her getting her own title but this makes WAY more sense.

The villain is "Ultra-Woman," who maybe will be the Crime Syndicate Superwoman? At this point, who knows?

I seriously have a buying TPB addiction. I have so many book on my stack of "to-read" already but I keep on buying more. Im pretty sure I can't walk into a Comic Store without buying at least one book, which is kind of a problem because I play DnD weekly at a comic shop.

Currently I have 3 trades of Teen Titans, Silver Surfer vol 3, Nameless, Morrison's JLA vol 1, and Gotham Academy vol 2 all waiting to be read, but for some reason I thought it was a good idea to buy Planet Hulk and Ms. Marvel vol 4. I have a problem. help.

I ordered Kingdom Come the other day. It's weird how a lot of DC's huge books are seemingly out of print. I wanted to try and read a few of the Crisis books, but I can never seem to find most of them.

I've noticed that too. They've stopped caring about so many of their pre-52 books and its super annoying. I think they do it so they can just reprint all the best "runs" in some stupidly overpriced Omnibus Edition. Look at Geoff John's Flash run. They let it go out of print just so they can charge 150$ for 12 issues. Thats fucking insanity.

I still haven't read this complete run because I haven't been able to get it anywhere. Loved Rebirth through Flashpoint and wanted to go back and read prior to that.
