I've listened to Gore 3 times today and I've had a busy schedule. My listenings today have all been Gore bar JEW's Invented.

After many listens Acid Hologram remains at the top for me. It's everything I want in a Deftones song.

It reminds me a lot of Lovers in the way it churns. Just massive.

I think it's my favorite too. I come back to it more than any of the other songs. Rubicon is the probably the best song, but Acid Hologram is the most infectious.

I've only listened 3 times so far, but Phantom Bride is my favorite as well. That could change with repeated listens.

The title track is just as good as Phantom Bride and Rubicon I think.

It's quickly becoming my favorite too. I love how the guitars are almost doom-y but at the same time the vocals have that airy, dreamy quality that is classic Chino. Great juxtaposition.

Agree with all the Acid Hologram love. That song is hypnotic and unsettling at the same time. I can't think of any other band that can pull that off without sounding desperate.

Also, I love that Deftones landed on Kimmel during Marvel week.

"Acid Hologram", "Xenon", and "Rubicon" are my three favorite songs. I can't get enough of them.

  17. Would be great. I bought the vinyl and have been listening to the Spotify stream non stop so I'm doing my part!

Totally makes sense that Jerry from AIC is soloing on phantom bride. You can tell from that snarly tone in the first note. God I wish that they would let him join the band just to solo over everything. Him and carpenter would make the world explode.

I was trying to stay up last night to watch it and I ended up falling asleep before they came on. I woke up to my girlfriend sending me a link to it. Put a big smile on my face!

Killed it. Chino did a pretty good job with those screams too. Sounded just like the album version.

Love the second chorus when it slides into the extended part, around 2:37.
