I honestly just think it's a byproduct of how bad Tom hyped everything up and he is probably just being the complete opposite and wants the music to speak for itself when it comes out.

 

No, I agree. I guess I just want more unique content. Using the channel to essentially retweet (I only browsed their Twitter) Mark and Travis isn't interesting to me, especially since personally, I'm following both of them. Then again, maybe I'm viewing it in the wrong light.

 

blink's official accounts are pretty much the equivalent of "Do you guys like blink-182?!" and promoting some merch. They'll make a post about a Travis project or share an instagram post of Mark's, but they don't really do too much to get people involved or interact with fans.

Yes the disc will be kept under huge wraps but there's that one person that will leak it. As for singles yes, those always leak anyways..

 

Let's pray they hire someone capable of designing a good website for once.

Their website around the TOYPAJ time was good if I remember okay. But they have been utterly dreadful since their comeback. Which doesn't make a lot of sense since Tom owns a website creation company of some kind.

 

I guess blink wanted to be separate from Modlife at one point, but then I think wound up on Modlife anyway.

 

I would love that. My birthday, haha. :)

 

You can tell they came up during a time that social networking was a non issue. And they still don't seem to care too much

 

I still remember the day tickets went on sale for the tour. I was in a freshman poly-sci class in a lecture hall and noticed like five people on ticketmaster waiting for tickets to go on sale lol

 

I envy these people a lot. I hope they do feel bored to death with everything else in life after listening to the song.

Guys, they have a plan, relax. Almost everything of relevance is sent to media members before the public hears it. There's more that goes into when/how a specific song or detail is released than many people seem to believe. It will come when they're ready.

 

Didn't mean to make a second post so quickly, but take this for what it's worth:

The friend of mine who heard a few songs via Mark just told me he believes the 28th is the single release and the album July 1st.

 

But you only say that cause information didn't (really) leak out early. How do you know that's not exactly what Blink wants to do but people on Twitter are saying things before they were supposed to? (Which also happened with FOB.)

 

It seems that the new album will be released on the 1st of July (182nd day of the year).
