Fournette is just ridiculous. I still cant believe hes 240 pounds and runs a 4.51. I mean fuck.

Can he play as a DE for Carolina? He seems more like an inside guy.

 

Yes, he's a de. He can play inside also but is less good at it than outside IMO

 

He'd be really good in Carolina actually.

 

If he is able to play in our defense than I'd be more than happy with him as the pick. He's a phenomenal player.

We'd have a very deep DL. That intimidating front 7 would be back and make things easier for the younger DBs.

 

Thomas, Fournette, Adams, Howard. One of those four will be the 8th pick.

 

Dude, I'm not even convinced any of them will be there. Adams and Fournette could be top four.

 

I think Adams will be the one to slip tbh. I think Hooker will get taken first.

haha. Been there too. You are really shitting on Jax hard since you left haha. I get that you're sick of Florida but like, southern college towns?? Jacksonville is not THAT bad lol. I'd rather live here a whole extra year than spend a single month in Baton Rouge.

I went to a show there a few weeks ago and it really wasn't that bad. Typical college town with some bad parts.

And not to nitpick, but I'm pretty sure Fournette is from New Orleans...but correct me if I'm wrong.

 

I mean surely it has it's pockets of cool music and bars like anywhere else. I saw Kevin Devine and a local post-rock/indie band called Particle Devotion when I last went to Baton Rouge. Spanish Moon is an excellent music venue. Overall though I've been there enough times, and had a few like minded friends who went to LSU and strongly disliked the culture surrounding the school, to know it's not for me.

My mom's whole side of the family is from New Orleans so I do have a reason to know a little bit about that area haha.

I have a strange feeling that Leonard Fournette doesn't listen to Kevin Devine.

I mean Fournette probably just wants to go where he will be adored for his talent and highly utilized haha. Jacksonville might be one of the most runningback hungry teams in the league considering all of our limited success has rested on the legs of Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew. And then you got Doug Marrone and Tom Coughlin who both love to run the ball 35 times a game.

This is a city where he can sell a ton of jerseys or whatever, build his brand/contract extension size, and be THE REASON we win any games, but still go out to eat at Chili's and not get swamped by fans
