Corey Davis is really really good. The only knock on him is he did a lot of what Ross and Williams did against actual competition. Davis is a great athlete who is smart on the field. Williams pulled a Mike Evans and was so good he fooled people into thinking he played for a great QB. Ross is a freak athlete and very intelligent. All three, barring injury, are WR1 caliber guys.

 

If there was more outside receivers in this draft he wouldn't be taken as high, he's not bad though. I still think he would go in the 20s but this year he'll go higher.

The opposite haha. Williams is being underrated because "he played for a great QB" similar to how people said Watkins was better than Evans. Evans/Williams consistently bailed out their QB and made them look like geniuses. Williams and Ross could both be top five picks imo.

 

Yeah I guess I saw it more as people over-crediting Davis than under-crediting Williams and then when you made that explanation it kinda clicked more.

Nah, we agreed on that pick. Ramsey was the pick if he was there just as Fournette is the pick so long as no one pulls some dumb shit. We agreed on Sheldon Day too, right? I think one of us had him as a third though.

 

I feel like it's so hard because there's so many damn factors:
-What if the talent isn't good enough to translate to the NFL
-What if they don't get into a good offensive scheme for them
-What if they get into a good offensive scheme but don't have good positional coaches
-What if they have all those things good but there's no leadership on the team they go to
-What if they're just stubborn as hell and don't make the effort to make their talent translate
-What if they don't like the city they have to live in and it affects their motivation
-What if they just had all those things in college and don't anymore in the NFL
