Just started playing Skyrim Special Edition again, first time using mods. The mod for increased carry weight is a godsend.

 

Happy Mass Effect DAY!!!! Been waiting a long time for this, cant wait to play after work!

 

It's so funny how much Jim has gotten flamed for his Zelda score.

 

So I caved and bought a Switch. I haven't owned anything Nintendo since the Gamecube and it feels pretty weird to have the Switch. I feel like a little kid again haha.

Naturally I bought Zelda. Is there anything else you guys suggest for now, or games that you are looking forward to in the future. The only ones I know about are Mario Kart 8, Splatoon 2, and Mario around Christmas time. Because I wasn't planning on buying a Switch I never paid any attention to upcoming games. Does anybody know if they will make the Zelda for Wii U for the Switch? And what about Smash Bros.?

 

You covered the big AAA games, but keep an eye on the Nintendo store, some decent indies coming out in 2017. Not sure about Skyward.

 

The Zelda for the WiiU is the same as the Zelda for the Switch. As far as other big games go, the ones you listed are the ones that have been announced so far, plus Xenoade Chronicles 2 and Fire Emblem Heroes. I would not be surprised if one more game will be announced for fall 2017 at e3. There'll also be tons of indie games and probably the occasional more niche Japanese game this year.

 

I think he was asking if the Zelda game that came out out Wii U (SS) would come out for Switch. I don't think they have plans for it, but it'd be great if they put some of the Wii U games on Switch for people like me who never bothered with that console.

 

Skyward Sword is a Wii game, not a WiiU game.

 

Looks like it released on WiiU e-shop in September

 

That's pretty awesome. That's be funny if they got a receipt for it to and had to file it on their taxes.

Ahhh I was lazy, I should have looked it up. I meant Zelda Skyward Sword. I never played that one because I never owned a Wii. I'd be happy with another Waverace, those games are still fun.

 

They should put Windwaker HD/Twilight Princess HD and Skyward Sword HD out as a collection for the switch. Would be so good.

One of my favorite things about Wind Waker HD is using the gamepad as a map and for items. A shame that can't carry over.

 

This is easily my biggest disappointment with BotW, especially since those features were originally there and were removed when it was ported to Switch.
