Holy fucking shit at some of the spots in that main event match...

Also, if this preview is indicative of where PWG is staying quality wise, I feel like someone is gonna get hurt real bad eventually. They are pushing some really sketchy boundaries in terms of dangerous spots

Yeah, it's a lucha thing as Joe mentioned. They did it after the Aerostar/Fenix v Drago/Pentagon Jr. match at the 2015 BOLA too.

This is probably in my top 5 matches of all time. I really miss SSB in PWG.

 

Last week in Raw, was Rollins actually going for a curb stomp? Would be awesome if they brought it back. And Triple H is the perfect person for it.

Haven't watched the final yet but I gotta imagine it's pretty safe to assume who won. Was really surprised at the outcome of EVIL/Bad Luck Fale.

 

yeah, that threw me for a loop. I swear that booking was just to mess with people. Fale in the final makes zero sense otherwise.

 

Yeah, like I understand shocking results in the first round because it gets people talking and interested in the later rounds. But having a guy that's not really believable to win the tournament be in the finals just strikes me as odd.

 

FOr some reason, the idea of a Mojo/Ellsworth tag team just makes me laugh really hard. It'd be like a jobber version of Enzo/Cass

Also, Joey Ryan first won the belt on May 21st, 2016. This is know his 25th reign with the belt. He is 3rd only to Miyamoto and Shinobu in overall title reigns...and they traded the belt back and forth like 500+ times.
