Not a B-Side. It could be a strong song on (+44) record. IMO, it's one of the best experiments which Mark came up with. I really like drums on this song, Travis is a beast.

Glad to see some love for Fighting the Gravity. I've always loved that one.

I like FTG, but I have to be in the right mood to listen to it. Unlike this is home which I always skip. FTG was a great experimental, and I listed it in my ones I would have them rewrite purely because I can hear the potential in it. It's good but could have been so much more

I'm not a big fan of FTG but I agree with everyone that for a bonus song it is fine to experiment like that. Definitely has a +44 vibe to it, kind of reminds me of Weatherman a bit.

Didn't Mark say that FTG is about a time someone spiked his drink with LSD? Lol

The day the deluxe is released i'll be driving a 4 hour road trip so i'm pretty stoked to have brand new blink to listen to!

Best way to do it. Last year for California I refused to listen to any leaked songs besides the ones the band put up(BTD,NF,Rabbit Hole). The day the album came out I literally went on a 4 hour road trip to nowhere and just experienced the album lol

Yeah that's awesome! I think i'm gonna try to hold off from listening to any leaks as well so I can enjoy the whole thing at once.

When California leaked i was travelling so managed to download a copy track by track as it was being uploaded and listen on trains. I think it cemented the record in my head and heart a lot more.

It was hard to hold off especially with everyone here talking about it when the album leaked, but I managed to do so, and I have no regrets about it. Being able to experience the album blind on the intended release day while driving nowhere was so soothing and exciting at the same time. You're playing it smart my man

Same! They're the only ones I buy physical releases for and so preorders for Anymore too. Everyone else I just buy digital, but for Blink I want to hold the album, see the lyric book etc

Same for me. There's something about having new Blink in my hands. They're the only ones I will buy on the day something gets released. Ever since Enema. Did it with California too, but I pre-ordered the pink deluxe vinyl and am so stoked for it.

I like to have every physical Jimmy Eat World album too. Most of my new music is digital. I also just realized I own every physical Real Friends release, which just blows my mind because they're nowhere near a favorite band of mine haha. Its funny how that happens. Maybe its bc I grew up 30 minutes from their hometown and feel a need to support haha.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

Scott and Tom should start a new band with Dan Andriano. ;)

Same, I have to own the physical releases for Blink and I have gotten every album of there's since Untitled on release day. Also went and bought all their old albums (including MT&TS and Buddha/Cheshire). Besides Blink though I haven't bought really many physical albums anymore....I did preorder Taking Back Sunday's tidal wave because it came with a TShirt(glad I did too I like the album a lot). But everything else is pure digital lol

Pre Enema tour with Mark, Tom & Scott would be a dream and no doubt will never happen!

Yeah there's something so cool about waking up on release day and going to buy a physical copy in stores. I love that.

I don't chance the stores because you'll find incompetent ones or they sell out. I usually do mail preorder---although I may be alone in this but following that tracking and the anticipation of the delivery on delivery day are fun in their own right :crylaugh:

I usually buy a physical copy for most of my favorite bands. I also have apple music which is nice because I know if there's ever anything I want to listen to digitally it'll be available.

I've noticed that physical CD seems to sound better then digital copies too. I played California in my car, and then later used my MP3 player and I somehow noticed a drop in quality in the two. I could hear tones and nuances better with the CD. Same with TBS' Tidal Wave. Anyone else notice this or am I just crazy?
