That is so awesome to see. I don't hold out much hope for their numbers in the US, but they are long overdue for a big showing out here.

 

I love that there are moments on Gore that can't really be compared to any of their past material. This is their biggest leap into new sonic territory since White Pony.

 

The keys at the end of Rubicon are absolutely perfect.

 

Seems like I can't get tired of this record. After all my listens thus far, pretty sure "Heart/Wires" is my favorite track.

 

Blonde Chino is back!

 

As bad as I'd like to skip to some of my favorite tracks when listening, I still think it should be experienced from start to finish. If you have time, obviously.

 

Wow blonde Chino is a trip.

the second half, yeah. But since it's Deftones I'm gonna count it and so should all of you.

 

Alright, I finally gave Gore a listen with headphones this morning, and it was incredible. The production has finally clicked for me, and fits the vibe of the album so well. New melodies are still popping out at me with each new listen. "Acid Hologram" is now one of my favorites. (L)MIRL through Rubicon is still my favorite part of the album, easily one of their best runs in the whole discography.

 

Alright, I'll admit that I've been a huge Deftones fan for years and I've never actually listened to it.

 

Where's that mythical Chorus.fm Gore review?
