I wonder if Skiba loves Adam's Song and got them to bring it back. I need to know who to worship more than I already do

I can't see the pic, but the way I read it was the bottom half are songs they will rotate through different sets? I'm probably wrong.

 

It's too bad they're wasting a slot with "Down" again. I can't imagine that being a song ANYONE would miss. It's just... there.

 

Not getting my hopes up with the songs from Travis snapchat just yet since last year he posted something similar and it ended up being Greatest Hits with California songs but damn I'm just happy they are practicing some of those songs.

 

Yeah Down, First Date, and Violence are three songs I never need to hear live again.

 

yeah, i remember them having "Pathetic" on a practice set list a year or two ago, and that never happened.

 

"First Date" is one of those PBR drinking bro songs from high school, so I get why it's on there. It's a nostalgic song.

"Violence" is basically just Travis' drum solo, so I'm fine with it being on there.

"Down" though has no energy whatsoever. It's like the intermission where you can go pee or get another drink. Bad live song.

 

I love Violence with Matt. Down was cool to see with him but it's a momentum killer. And First Date yeah. Would like to see it dropped, never will. Only ATST gets a bigger reception at shows.

 

I think the bottom half is the encore

 

Yeah I mean I admit First Date sounded great live with Matt but the 3 I mentioned I would replace. I agree with you on Down. Violence just bores me live even with Travis' drumming.

Also kind of wish they would play After Midnight live.

blink will never not end with Dammit. When I saw them, Los Angeles ended the main set and then they did All the Small Things, a joke song, and Dammit for the encore. So that's probably the encore, the space probably separates songs they're practicing/might rotate in.

I like Down live. I like hearing untitled songs live, particularly with Matt, who kills them. I can't even really pretend to care about hearing All the Small Things, First Date, Kings of the Weekend, She's Out of Her Mind, or Los Angeles live. Or any joke songs. Rock Show/Dysentery Gary/Bored to Death I could take or leave, I'll be into it when they're played but there are probably 30 songs I'd rather hear them play live.

Basically my preferred blink live show would be a lot of untitled and Dude Ranch with a sprinkling of TOYPAJ/Enema and a California song or two.

Yeah I have no problem with people not knowing who's in the band. Or even knowing all the songs, I've been to plenty of shows where I'm just becoming familiar with or only really like 4-5 tunes.

(Blink is a little harder to not know who's in the band than most I'll admit with their dramas and the title of the live record)
But some of my favourite bands like you said I actually don't know the names of their other members and possibly also might not know if some weren't playing the night (e.g., Jimmy eat world, rise against, tool, the cure, ataris, wombats, millencolin, 1975, Silverstein, oasis, Coldplay)
