Picked a bracket for the hell of it on Yahoo and ended up with Rhode Island, Middle Tennessee and Florida Gulf Coast in the Sweet 16. I'm gonna do poorly

I have Rhode Island, and Middle Tennessee as first round upsets. FGCU though?!

Seems like a 14 seed pulls off a shocker every year, that's the one I went with.

I did not watch as much college as I used to, so I did the lazy thing and just went with KenPom odds to fill out my bracket. Sprinkled in a few upsets here and there and as usual picked Arizona to lose in the 2nd round. I'll probably change it 10 more times before Thursday.

I'll do one out of pure gut and one out of research. That's usually my way.

you know i really wish they would bring back Bracket Buster. That was a great tool for these mid-majors to pick up ONE more quality win. I know that after realignment, a lot of the sexy mid-majors joined power conferences, but still. Illinois St vs St Mary's could've been a great testing spot for them.

Does anyone have a good method/workflow for comparing two teams together?

  12. Bracket 1: Me just making wishful picks more than thinking about it.
Bracket 2: I think about it and then what I want to happen sneaks in anyway.

  13. I think I am bias from watching a lot of AZ games over the last week. But that team looked really good.

I only do one bracket. There are certain games or upsets I would like to see go against my bracket sometimes. I am the classic overthinker when it comes to the NCAA bracket. I like to get deep into the weeds on some of the games I struggle with. I feel good about most of it this year, but there are some games where I am stuck and was just wondering what others do beyond flipping a coin or going with your gut haha.

I like that team a lot as well. I like the individual talent and I like how they have played down the stretch. I think winning 2/3 against UCLA is very meaningful. I think Sean Miller is a good coach, but I know there is sort of a knock on him not being able to get past a certain round in the tourney. How teams play heading into the tournament means something to me. I made it a point to watch more west coast games this year because I think there is some good ball being played out there.

There's a spreadsheet I use at work which I think could be repurposed for something like that. I might just adapt it later if I'm bored.

I'd be interested in that if you get around to it.

The Big Baller Brand is the worst too. They have $50 shirts and $70 hoodies for what? What have the Ball kids or family done that warrants us giving them our money? I'm sure Lonzo will eventually reach a certain level, but for now, these are just kids. I support their right to do it and I'm sure there are tons of kids that identify with it though.

    Most telling part

“A billion dollars,” Ball said. “It has to be there. That’s our number, a billion, straight out of the gate. And you don’t even have to give it to ME all up front. Give us $100 million over 10 years.”

This dude looks at his kids and sees dollar signs
