i wanna get the definitive edition of that but it's never cheap enough to make me want to purchase it a second time

 

So I'm going back to playing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. I stopped playing because there were so many other games that came out soon after. Now I don't have anything other than mp stuff. Anyways, I'm still disappointed in this game. I absolutely loved the original and I still regard it as one of my favorite of all time. But that game came out a long time ago so it's clunky gameplay could be overlooked, now not so much. The gun play in MD is pretty weak and I'm just not having any fun.

Has anybody beat it? Opinions? Id like to say I'm far, but I think I'm only about 8 hours in and I think this game is close to 15 or so to beat the regular story. Not sure I can put that much more time into it.

 

I agree, Mankind Divided felt too dated. I played it for about 3 hours and then gave up.

 

I wish overriden machines in Horizon actively followed you around. I want a Snapmaw to accompany me to Pitchcliff, but nah, this dickhead's still down by the river chilling with his friends. Selfish fuck.

 

Is The Witness worth forty bucks?

 

I'm in love with Sniper Elite 4, I liked the last one but this new one has refined and expanded upon the gameplay from that game while also improving level design and having an intriguing plot that is a bit revisionist but nonetheless solid. Forza Horizon 3 is also having the best month since the Blizzard Mountain expansion with the new Duracell car pack, a free car that made its debut only this week at the Geneva Motor Show and at least three vehicles (mostly returnees from prior Forza games) being available for free via Forzathon with those being the 2017 Bentley Continental Supersports, 1972 Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3 and the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento with the AMC Pacer X being rumored to be a barn find at some point as well.

 

Quake is cool.

 

if you play on PC, it's $12 in the humble monthly + you get 5-6 other games

 

I loved The Witness for a long time, and then some of those end game puzzles were just ridiculous. Finished it not long ago but I don't have any desire to put myself through that again.

Edit: But yeah, $40 is still relatively pricey.

 

Thoughts on it? I am a huge supergiant fan.

 

Timed exclusive on Switch right now, but Shovel Knight: Spectre of Torment is fantastic. I took a break from BotW and told myself I'd finish only one stage. That wasn't what happened.

 

I really enjoyed it. Loved the stealth gameplay in it, and thought it had a very intriguing world.

Having said that I haven't really thought about it since Oct, and the ending was kinda lame.

 

Yeah can't wait to play the Shovel Knight DLc

 

Well worth it. It's quite long

 

this nightmare in north point dlc is kinda eh so far but it sounds like new tracks were added and real fm stays dope.

Just finished Dishonored 2. I love both games but I actually think I liked this one better than the first, which I wasn't expecting. The story at least was for sure better. I want to replay it as Corvo at some point but probably not anytime soon

Gonna play Watch Dogs 2 next but I'm gonna take a break from games for a bit to catch up on some shows that I've fallen behind on. Also still have to play Rise of the Tomb Raider, Horizon, and Mass Effect Andromeda

 

I completed the main story of Horizon at the weekend (and have done most of the side quests), for a new IP it really was fantastic and it looked so gorgeous. Definitely one of the best games I've played in a while.

I have a feeling this will be like Watch Dogs though in that the next game will be where it really shines. This had lots of really good idea's but a few of the things I was looking forward to weren't as good as I hoped.

Basically I hope in the next game they overhaul the override feature and make more robots ride-able. Also when you actually override a machine they need to make it follow you around the map rather than it just staying in it's area.

I'd seriously recommend anyone with a PS4 picking this up though as I had so much fun with it over the last few weeks.

 

Finished up completing Jurassic Park and finished my first playthroughs of The Cave.

Wife wanted to play Lego LOTR so I also dusted off the PS3 for that too

 

Finally got around to playing Resident Evil 7. The atmosphere is just so great.

 

Never had an interest in those games but this one does look great!

 

Resident Evil is down to $40 on Amazon. Tempted.

 

Yeah I'm loving playing that with housemates every so often.
