Yes! Loved the Spidey/Rhino stuff. I hear great things about Paper Girls, I should check it out.

Action Comics was so good, I sadly don't know much about that villain reveal but at least Paul Dini had a great story to tie it all together. Always happy to see more of Mr. Oz

I'm not sure how I feel about Man-Thing...The dialogue was super cheesy and fun but it really just felt like a Swamp Thing parody. The Hollywood stuff was funny, I'd be into it if they lean hard on that. Probably give it another issue, see if it stands out. The back up stories at least look like they'll be fun.

Jessica Jones continues to be great. Same with Red Hood.

Ugh, this new Suicide Squad arc is incredible, so many satisfying twists and turns, and there was totally a bar scene which is always the best when it comes to SS. That last page though...I just have no fucking clue what's going to happen. figured it was pretty simple and Deadshot was working with Waller but I just have no idea now or how you know who fits into it. Even if the deaths aren't "lasting" its still really fun to see them willing to "kill" whoever they want.

Glad that Helena and Dick got a reunion finally in BOP. I'm also super happy that I literally just read Batman Venom because that pill Oracle is taking looks exactly like the intelligence pills the doctor took in that. Hope Dick sticks around for this arc.

OML was good, the art in these between stories are never as good as the main arcs. I am really looking forward to getting back to the Wasteland.

Detective is incredible. Shiva is terrifying.

Ok, done with rest of my reading:

This issue of Shade the Changing Girl was a decent end to the arc, though as much as I adore the art and some story moments here and there, this was the first issue where the story felt like a little bit of a drag. I do at least see how what happened here could pay off in future issues.

Paper Girls is just an eternal delight. This was the least impactful thus far, but I continue to be 100% sold in on everything about this series.

Hawkeye is absolutely immaculate so far. Kelly Thompson is wonderful. Give her more, Marvel!

I honestly merely skimmed this issue of Green Lanterns. I should probably care more about this, but I don't care as much about the First Lantern as I do Jessica, Simon, and even that Phantom Lantern guy who got his own spotlight issue. In a sad bit of irony, this less engaging story had some of the coolest art this visually messy series has had this far! lol.

I loved this Silver Surfer issue, like every issue, but all I could think while reading this was that, with how much Dan Slott loves planning ahead, this could be setting the stage for a sad moment down the road. Hm.

Finally, good issue of Jessica Jones. I totally saw the Jessica/Carol plan reveal coming, but in a good, satisfying kind of way. Like that last issue's seed of doubt for Jessica is still there. Don't like what the ending implied about her and Luke's relationship, even if I'm sure there'll be a good resolution eventually.

Just remembered I bought that Image Humble Bundle back in January. Downloaded them all today so I have some reading to do.

I've enjoyed everything of Kevin Smith's that I've read. Haven't read his GA run which I've heard is great.

Well I haven't read it yet so I'll try to see if I can grab Cacophony at another library.

I bought his GA run but I still have a ton of trades I own to read still. If only I'd stop checking things out from the library...

I know that feeling! We go every week and I'm like oh maybe I'll read something we already own this week.

    Never happens

I'm not sure if I've mentioned it in this thread before but Green Valley is so good.

Superman Unchained was ridiculously good. Snyder continues to be infallible. Easily my favorite Superman solo book I've read, though that's not saying too much since I haven't focused too much on him (yet)

Saw your update on GR and thought it sounded good, I'll have to check it out. Always looking for more good JLA

I haven't read too much JL or JLA stuff so this was nice. Now to find Batman: Cacophony so I can read that before The Widening Gyre.

Unchained is one of the N52 Superman stories I've thought of reading before (and still may someday), but now that they literally killed him off and brought back the "real" Superman, like, why waste the time?

Not that I care about continuity or if stories "matter" or any of that crap. But, since I've become quite fond of Superman over the past couple years, I feel more and more like the N52 version just doesn't... feel like Superman to me? It's hard to explain. He just seems like a totally different character, and one I care a lot less about.

I've read Action Comics and Superman in the New 52 up to the Doomed event and Unchained definitely feels like it's own thing. I'd equate it more to Jeph Loeb's Batman and Superman. I have no idea how hardcore Superman fans feel about it though. I think Scott Snyder's script was at the top of his game though so if you like Snyder it's at least worth it for that.

I've also noticed some talk about this Superman Reborn possibly folding N52 continuity into the current one, so it might not be a waste.

Went back to the library and picked up Superman: Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?, Batman: The Man Who Laughs, The New Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, and Batman: Streets of Gotham Leviathan. So much for reading the trades I own haha.

Streets of Gotham is fucking great! The best Two-Face I've read

I didn't realized I grabbed the second volume, so I'll have to see if they have any of the others when I go back. The library unfortunately just groups all of the Batman stuff in one spot without it being actually organized haha. But they also have like 3 shelves of Batman so it's a lot haha.

I've checked it out! I will definitely look for it there. I've been reading a lot of Dini and Johns lately and both have been great. Didn't realize Dini wrote so much outside of Batman Adventures.
