Alright I may turning to you guys to settle a debate between a friend and I (friendly debate, we both like both bands or have liked at one point)

Who does it better? Starset or Angels and Airwaves? Both bands deal with concepts of space and incorporate it into their music and both bands have reached to other mediums (Angels: Books and movies. Starset: Stage plays and up comming marvel comic). We both picked 3 songs that best summed the band(in our opinions)

I provided links for Starset as not everyone knows them. Slightly off topic, but it's been slow here and Tom is part of the debate so I figured why not?

 

Rumored new Blink single called "Parking Lot" coming on March 18 according to leak sites... haven't seen it posted about here yet.

They did mention Parking Lot as a title a while ago. Hopefully the release date is real

 

Saw it on KL's "Upcoming Singles" thread and they usually seem to have pretty good sources, they posted about The 1975's newest single before anybody else was really talking about it.

Anyway to respond to your earlier question in the thread, I've listened to a bit of Starset recently and I feel like they'd be 12-year-old me's favorite band haha (not a diss to them at all). They have a mix of that sort of AVA/Thirty Seconds to Mars soaring alt rock sound, mixed with Breaking Benjamin/Red... AKA all stuff I loved around that age haha. I'd have to listen more to see how they'd stack up to AVA directly.

 

I'm in the mindset that they are better then AvA(and I used to adore AvA. Still like them though). My friend feels AvA is better but he's sort of a tombot

That release date needs to be true so hard... Btw, I think I prefer that color scheme over the original one.

 

The 18th is a Saturday, which would be a weird day for a release.

Hopefully it's this Thursday or Friday.

I wonder if the exclusion of Parking Lot in the description means that it won't be a high-energy song.
