Will it be any better? Basically the same game for 5 years now. Sports games need to improve mechanics, graphics, gameplay, not stupid Road to the show, or some collect card bullshit. All sports games have been guilty of this...and I still buy them. However I play them a lot less than I used to. NBA2k has had flawed defense for the past two or three years, FIFA is nearly identical every year, Madden hasn't improved for god knows how long.

I'm pretty bitter about sports games because I love sports so much and gameplay rarely seems to improve over the years.

 

Yeah with those games it's more like, wait 3 or 4 years before getting another one. If anything, they're the most annoying yearly releases. lol. Sure, teams (players/managers) change but it's like, not a massive deal in the grand scheme of gameplay and graphics and overall enjoyment lol

 

I think FIFA went fucking downhill after like FIFA 04, but I'm not a simulation purist

 

all I know is the NHL are hot garbage compared to the rest of the sports games.

I still play them just because EA Access but the mechanics in that game always feel weird.

 

Their budget is also significantly smaller so at least they have a reason haha

 

I didn't buy a new madden for the first time in years.


Generally a ripoff but I usually care enough about rosters to buy them, guess the Rams being total ass made it easier to avoid.

 

I can't play madden anymore because my dad keeps beating me and I get sad knowing osweiler is my quarterback.

sir I ain't about to cop out and try and pick a better team. I am determined to win all my games with a terrible quarterback in real life and in a video game.

 

Sports games ought to allow you to update your game to the current year for maybe 20 bucks. Never happen, but a guy can dream.

 

Yeah if anyone should be taking advantage of DLC

 

I was looking at ordering Injustice, but there is no pre-order discount on Amazon. Boo to that.

'Telltale will offer more details on its Guardians game during a panel at PAX East in Boston this weekend. The panel is set for 6 p.m. ET on March 10 in the Albatross Theater, and will feature members of the Telltale team as well as Bill Rosemann, the creative director at Marvel Games.

The studio is also heading to South by Southwest next week, and is bringing the first episode of Guardians of the Galaxy for one of its “crowd play” events. Far Cry 4 has been fun as hell, no clue how regularly I'll be able to play until summer but what other games should I be catching up on from this gen? Ideally older stuff that would be cheap now.

PS, sorry. I'm mostly into single player. Favorites from last gen were Last of Us, GTA, Bioshock

 

AC Syndicate, Uncharted 4, Ratchet and Clank, Tales from the Borderlands (episodic game from TellTale).

I want to get LEGO Marvel's Avengers eventually.

If you haven't played Rayman Legends, I would definitely recommend that.

 

The Order: 1886 and Ratchet & Clank would be good starters

 

This might sound weird but if you loved GTAV, I think you should play it again on PS4 with the insanely improved graphics and first person mode. You'll feel like you played an alpha on PS3.

 

Honestly I considered it but figured I'd knock off some titles I hadn't played in any capacity yet (though that's not true since FC4 is basically FC3)

 

Bloodborne is doing a Return to Yharnam event this Friday. Hopefully a lot of people will be online and helping out with bosses and such. Great time to get into the game.
