I loved that album but is that mostly blink variant collectors that sell that out quickly or is that album in really high demand.

 

I tried for the Box Car Racer but it sold out too quickly.

 

Both, I'm sure. I don't own any blink records, but I thoroughly enjoy Box Car Racer.

 

Shipping records costs too damn much. Can't be spending $30 on every record

 

Well shit, I was gonna wait til tomorrow to get the Box Car Racer repress since thats when I get paid but guess not. It'll probably be sold on discogs for way too much pretty soon.

 

Supposedly limited to 900 according to a Hot Topic rep. These sold fast. Some are already on eBay.

 

I hate that shit.

this guy has them in hand already. $45. Doubt you'll find any for lower than that from individual sellers.

 

i literally pulled over on my way to work to order the boxcar racer pressing.

 

probably a good mix of both. i am not a big blink fan but i have been waiting years for this re-press. this is truly one of my favorite albums.

 

$45 isn't awful if you really love/want the record. I paid $30 with shipping after all said and done.

 

Same. I wasn't happy w/ the shipping price, but I knew if I didn't get it now I wouldn't be able to find it for less than a $100.

 

That RSD list is pretty disappointing if true. Probably won't try and get anything this year.

 

That album and almost no album is worth $45.

Just spent $25 on the Thrice - Guitar Center 7". I have no regrets.

 

If I had that philosophy, I think I wouldn't have probably a third of my collection. Haha

That list shows Springsteen - 4LP Live at the Hammersmith Odeon box, that is a wait all night in line kind of set for me. I waited overnight for the Deja RSD press, and this is a bigger deal than that for sure. Especially if it's just a couple thousand.

 

4x LP set is understandable at that price/even a deal. But for a mediocre blink side project single LP that Hot Topic represses it's not.

 

But if it's an album you like, it's totally worth it? Cool, @Brenden ha

After a year of it being actually complete, I'm gonna take a picture of my Manchester Orchestra collection. It's super dumb, but some people get stoked about seeing stuff (myself included).

What band do you guys collect? Got any complete collections? Post stuff.

 

I decided a long time ago not to do variant collecting. I do have a few full discographies though. Protest the Hero, Alexisonfire, Brand New, Emarosa and a few more that aren't coming to mind.
