The key thing is "if I wanted to" he doesn't but if he doesn't keep teasing the Tombots with the possibility, a large portion will abandon him and his stories that the young adults need to hear lol.

 

The fact that it's more than likely only on paper he can come back "anytime" he wants makes that statement seem intentionally assholish to me. He clearly still isn't talking to Mark because if he was he'd want to rub that in even more than with Travis and I still can't see Mark wanting to work with him again any time soon.

 

Ehh I don't see anything wrong with what Tom said. I'm over bashing him at this point.

 

tom comes off like a cool dude doing what he's passionate about in certain interviews and that pursuit of tone documentary but then he says stupid stuff like that and he goes back to seeming ridiculous again.

but none of us really know the situation, maybe he can come back whenever he wants like he says. i'm doubtful it ever turns into anything more than playing shows though. the three of them writing music together just seems implausible at this point

 

Until he actually does something with them, I'm not going to give any merit to what he says about it.

 

If Tom and Mark don't talk and all he does is talk to Travis - I can see another Box Car Racer album first.

 

Honestly, I would prefer another BCR album. Its my favorite album of all time. Probably wouldn't sound anything like that album, but I'll still take it lol.
