Interesting. I heard from a promoter here, didn't see that link.

How big is The Fillmore? I keep hoping they'll do a small club run.

True. LP and BMTH would make a ton of sense, but it'd have to be next summer.

I'd say $55 minimum. I think the Starland dates were 65 or 75 before fees.

I think the Carnivores tour was the first time LP hit the US the same year that their album came out. They usually hit up Asia, Australia, Europe, South America and then North America on their tours. I have a feeling they're going to be on a lot of "Jingle Ball" radio lineups this winter which could delay a full US tour by even longer. This is the first time since New Divide I believe that mainstream radio is playing LP.

That's not entirely true, Burn it Down was huge off the last album.

I agree with that last line. UABB should've been the next Attila (or even bigger than them) but I think that half-Spanish album killed them. They have some great songs on that album and the Spanish vibes are cool but the lyrics fell flat. Already Broken should've been a hit for them but I think the dual language messed that up. Just my opinion.

It was huge but we're not talking mainstream top 40 radio. It was great with Sirius XM and the rock stations.

Rancid/Dropkick Murphys coheadliner with Bouncing Souls opening. Holy shit! Don't know how to post stuff on mobile, but the LA date is the date of It's Not Dead so I'm assuming all of these bands are playing the fest.

    but does it djent?

Question that someone may be able to answer here, or at the least speculate on: I know first week sales of a bands new albums make or break a band. I have heard a few bands post saying that first week sales depend on what kind of tours they get on, etc. The new suicide silence album sold just over 4,500 copies the first week, a little more than 10,000 less than their last album. Think this will effect them doing huge headliners and go back to the days of seeing them as a support band, or will their following be enough to warrant the same tours?

There is a new venue in Joliet, IL called The Forge. Same place where Mojoe's used to be.

This will absolutely mess things up for their camp. Despite not selling well, it was poorly received and the whole thing with the drummer doesn't help matters. They alienated most of their fanbase and are now considered a joke. If I was in their camp, the first thing I'd do is get them on a summer tour like Warped Tour or opening for a mainstream rock band. While on the road, I'd have them talk to a lot of press and have them basically say "We tried something different and it didn't come out the way we wanted to. We went all-in and lost on the river card. Our fans deserve better and to lash out at them like we did was incredibly wrong. This is NOT what SS is about but believe us, the intensity of our live shows is still there and we'll be meeting everyone who wants to talk to us after every show. No special VIP package needed". I'd even put out a shirt that says "Tee-Hee" on it with Eddie's picture. They need to get back in the good graces of their fans. In the fall or winter, have them go on a headliner but make it "An Intimate Tour" playing 200-400 places. Obviously they won't be selling out the same venues they played last year. Bring out a band like Sylar or Islander and have the 3rd spot be a local band. Meet every last fan that comes out to that tour for free. Maybe next spring or summer, they'll tour with someone like Lamb of God or another popular heavy metal band. Perhaps they can do the hard rock festival circuit.

    tl;dr DAMAGE CONTROL!!!!
