The fact that we're hours from Dark Souls 3 is exhilarating.

 

To my knowledge, it's hardly even canon to the series/story. In the original browser game, there are 3 lines from a scroll that are canon. As for this, idk if any of it is canon or important to the story overall.

 

Yeah, it is a weird request but being a completionist (not a word), there are some games you start that maybe end up being to ridiculous, glitched achievements, lack of server support, the list goes on. Yeah, we are weird.

 

The KH timeline is so insane, I only ever played KH1 but I would like to play KH3 when it comes out so I've read some of the stuff online and it's just crazy how many things contribute to the overall canon, it's like MGS level.

Far Cry Primal $35 today.

 

I've never played a Ratchet and Clank game but I'm picking up the new one tomorrow. I always like a good platformer.

 

Yeah it's nuts. My community of friends and I have just pretty much stopped caring about trying to figure it out haha. We just play and try not to think about how absurd it is.

 

Also totally not video game related but @wisdomfordebris that AP tear on your default avatar is a very nice touch.

 

I'm stoked for the new version of the old ratchet and clank game based on the new movie sourced from the old video game.

 

I would be all about the new Ratchet and Clank if it wasn't coming out on Dark Souls day.

 

have to wait until thursday for dark souls...but i took off work for it so this should be a heckin good time

 

I see there's quite a few DS fans in here, anyone play Salt and Sanctuary? Definitely recommended. I'm currently playing Enter the Gungeon and Hyper Light Drifter as well. Both have been incredibly fun.

Titanfall 2 being teased now.

 

Didn't the first Titanfall not live up to hype at all? I remember a bunch of my friends being so excited for it and playing it like crazy for a week and then never touching it again after that.

 

Oh my god so soon. Jsjsjdk ahhh. Money. Decisions. Stuff and things.

 

It was a severely rushed game that was made under a crazy situation (fear of being cancelled, the lawsuit that they had vs. Activision, etc.). Now things are good and this game will probably be great. This one is apparently going to have a real campaign, unlike the first.

 

Wait another 3 months and it'll be $15-20

 

I played titanfall with people for a while. It was fun for some time and even better with new modes and maps. I made a lot of progress. So I'll get titanfall 2.

 

I forgot prime had the 20% off new-releases/pre-order stuff.. I need to start buying more games there. May is going to be a busy month with Overwatch, Doom and Uncharted 4 all coming out

 

Titanfall was great but there was like no community after a week and feck all content.

 

Interesting, I didn't know all the details surrounding it since I never followed it much (all I knew was based on my friend's reactions towards it). It'll be interesting to see how this one pans out then since it seems to already have a more cohesive development effort directed towards it.

 

The developer is made up of the core team of the original Infinity Ward who made Cod1/2/4/MW2

They also have a 2nd team there working on a third person action game.

 

I think Titanfall would have done so much better if everyone knew what it was before it came out. I ended up liking it a lot once the game finally clicked with me, but the first couple days I spent with it were a mega disappointment.

 

Not bad, not bad. Can't wait to see more of it.
