@GettingSodas Jeff Gerstman gave it a 5/5, which is rare. Austin Walker on the other hand was lukewarm on it.

 

I worried about it unfortunately. Game still looks really cool though. I don't have a Switch pre ordered either.

 

The shrines or whatever are mostly about physics puzzles. Austin Walker describes them as Portal levels made by Nintendo. There are also real, full on dungeons in the game, according to Dan from Giant Bomb.

Haha, well Jeff (head of GiantBomb, originaly one of the first employees of GameSpot until they fired him cause he would not sell out), with some others, is probably as close to a legend as game journalism has, he's insanely knowledgable, and Austin is head of Waypoint (Vice's gaming vertical) and is maybe the best video game critic in the sense of how you might be familiar with cristicism from music or film. I found that combining their viewpoints is usually right on the money, haha. I just brought them up because they are both well known game journalists with two different opinions on this game.

I think there's very, very little chance of God of War coming this year so I left it off. It would be 2 for me easily if I added it though. Also left off Crash because I found it difficult to place a remake.

 

I've never played Crash, so I am H Y P E D

 

Oh they're great! My favourite games as a small child. I'm going for everything in those games.

 

The Witness was pretty good. definitely started to fall apart towards the end, kind of got longer than it needed to and most of the final puzzles were just really aggravating and uninteresting variations of the original logic. still, relatively excited to do the challenge.

Just bought a LG B6 55" OLED 4K HDR TV. Usually $2500, on sale for $1399.

Now I want to play Horizon more than I ever have. It must wait for a price drop though.

These Zelda previews are absolutely glowing and now I'm stoked for the Switch, the bestZeda game ever made, and the best TV I've ever owned.

Don't use two-factor on Discord because if you lose access to it, and your back-up codes don't work, Discord won't help you.

They'll tell you "sorry you gotta make another account". They don't provide alternative two-factor log-ins like SMS codes, security questions, etc. And they don't care. They know these kinds of things are possible, but they don't care about their users.

I'd advise not using discord at all. They don't even give you a way of deactivating or deleting your account.

No offense but I don't care because that brushes off and dismisses the dangerous and insecure nature in which they operate and how that affects their users, which I very clearly outlined in my post.

 

Unless Uncharted get Nathan Fillion as Drake in the film it won't be as good as it could be. But seriously I don't think it'll end up being good regardless. Essentially you're making a cross between Indiana Jones and National Tresure at this point without the massive budget.

 

He'd be pretty perfect but I don't know if he could be serious enough.
